What are you gunna get this year?
AzHunt replied to deserthntr's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I was fortunate enough to sell a few items and put a new Zeiss 4.5x14x44 scope on my .300wsm. I am hoping to turn around and put one on my .257 Weatherby once the IRS sees that I overpaid them. -
I think one benefit of having a CCW is the idea that you have been "trained" to carry concealed. In any CCW class, you are instructed on shoot/don't shoot scenarios, as well as other pertinent information regarding concealed carry. If you are ever faced with a situation that requires the discharging of a firearm, I think it would be better to be in court with a card that says you have passed state requirements to carry concealed.

I see that same truck on a regular basis...usually on my way to work at about 4:30 am heading east on I-10

Just a thought....to truly understand labor, economy, and finance...start your own business after you have spent time in the workforce as an employee.

+1 The man has a product for sale, with a price he would like to get. If you don't like it, move on, no reason try to haggle publicly.

I believe I bought it in 2004, I am the original owner. It has appx. 100 rounds through it, it is the HS Precision stock, Shilen trigger, depending where you are I might deliver.....

Congratulations on the puppies, and my condolences for your loss.

I am in the market for a new scope and I have been doing alot of looking and a lot of research. One question that sticks in my mind is the use of drop compensating reticles versus target/hunting turrets. What is everyone's opinion as to which is better? Also, why would you have a scope that has both a ballistic reticle AND adjustable turrets like in the Zeiss Conquest scopes?

If I didn't already have one, I would snag this one!! Gonna show my brother and see if he wants to talk to you!!

Any chance you have a Z3 4x12 BT?

The 3x9 has seen 1 elk and 1 deer season. The 3x9 has been sitting in a safe ever since I bought it, except for sighting in. There is some dust on the 3x9, but no marks, and no marks on the 4x12 either. I paid $400 for the 3x9 and $500 for the 4x12. I really like the scopes, but I want to upgrade and I have been instructed that I cannot upgrade until I clear out my "inventory".....

Which ones are you referring to?

I have 4 aluminum truck wheels for sale. Tried to put them on my 04 Dodge, did not fit, so time to get rid of them. PM me for pics. Make me an offer. They are MB brand. Some more info, they are 17 x 8.5

They rubbed on the brake caliper, not quite wide enough of an inside diameter.

What is the bolt pattern on those rims? If they will fit my trailer I would be very interested.

Ok everybody, I am in need of some opinions. I have a Remington 700 chambered in .308, heavy barrel, heavy wide stock. I have a Nikon Monarch 5.5-16 on top along with a 20 MOA rail, also has a harris bipod, and a Timney trigger. I have put appx. 50 rounds through it, and I haven't shot it in about 6 years. Now, my fiance went elk hunting with me this year and has expressed alot of interest in giving hunting a try. I want to do everything I can to make her hunting experience the best it can be so she can decide if she wants to pursue it or not (she loves to shoot my AR, in fact I thought she was going to have a fit when I told her we were out of ammo). Ok, so here is the question(s): Do I leave the heavy a$$ rifle as is and let her lug it around? Do I re-barrel, and re-stock it to a more conventional hunting rifle? Do I scrap it and simply purchase a new rifle? Let me know what you would do given the same circumstances, I am really stuck on this one!! Thanks in advance for all of your input!!!

Thanks for all of your replies and thought everybody. I do think the best option is to let her have her own rifle. Like you guys said, she is going to shoot and enjoy shooting "HER" rifle the best!!
