I have the Slik 833. I use the Sirui tripod head and have the outdoorman binocular mount with the Arca Swiss plate. I also have an arca swiss plate on my rifle. I dont like carrying around the deathgrip anymore. I can also use the outdoorsmans adapter for my BTX or Spotting scope. Been using this setup for years. ***EDIT - I AM NOT SELLING TAGS, ACCESS ONLY. PLEASE READ BELOW. YOU MUST DRAW THE TAGS YOURSELF*** Hey Everyone, I commented on a post earlier and received about 15 messages about this, so I figured I would make a post. I have a business partner that is a land developer in Wyoming. He has a little over 5,000 acres of private undeveloped land that we have been hunting on. This year our group has decided to go on a different trip and I have been put in charge of selling access to hunt his property. This property is 15-20 min from downtown Casper. This is UNIT 25 which has 75% draw odds with 1 point and is 100% draw odds with zero points if you buy the special tag. Its easy to draw because this unit is primarily private land, and most outfitters have leased the rest of this area. We are going to separate access into 4 weeks and allow only a few people each week so that it is a good hunt for everyone. I will put dates and prices below. Please feel free to message me if you have any interest. We are happy to adjust the group size if you have a couple people that want to go, or if you are a group of two guys and want the place to yourself. This is a great easy hunt, and I will post some pictures below of the three bucks we killed all opening day. October 1-7 - (Two Slots) $1350ea. Slot A - Booked Slot B - Booked October 7-14 - (Two Slots) $1200ea. Slot A - Pending Slot B - Pending October 15-21 - (three Slots) $1000ea. Slot A - Available Slot B - Available Slot C - Available October 22-28 - (three Slots) $1000ea. Slot A - Available Slot B - Available Slot C - Available

Dont Get discouraged, I think most people are not reading the Wyoming part in the title and thinking of Arizona antelope... completely different ballgame. A guy I work for started letting me manage his property last year. He has 6,000+ acres right out of Casper. Unit 25. If you want we would let you pay a trespass fee to hunt on it. You will draw that tag with 3 points, and we killed 3 above average goats opening day. PM me if you are interested. Antelope everywhere and nobody else hunts it. This is one of the bucks from last year

Leave the heater to 40-50 like everyone else said. Just make sure you park away from any brush and have insurance incase it burns down 😅 You can get a solar panel to top off the charge on the battery. I put three panels on my trailer and added an extra battery. I only need to run a generator when running AC or Microwave, or on a really cloudy day. Heres one that should work. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8BCD3G1/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?pd_rd_i=B0D8BCD3G1&pd_rd_w=xzS7W&content-id=amzn1.sym.f2f1cf8f-cab4-44dc-82ba-0ca811fb90cc&pf_rd_p=f2f1cf8f-cab4-44dc-82ba-0ca811fb90cc&pf_rd_r=SSXW9GFYBV732RGVYX9T&pd_rd_wg=DHamq&pd_rd_r=cf029e58-6402-4fc7-80f4-dbd29a919df7&s=lawn-garden&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWxfdGhlbWF0aWM&th=1

Sounds like you are doing everything correctly. Right now the deer are usually going back to bed in the shade in really thick stuff right when the sun comes up in central AZ. If its over 85 degrees out I usually only glass until about 8am and dont get back on the hill until 5pm. If you are committed use spotter and look into any shady spot you can find in the afternoon. I also make sure this time of year wherever I am glassing has a view of a water source.

Has anybody hunted the 5a Late Rifle bull hunt? Scouted it last year but did not turn up anything good up north. Was thinking about hunting/ camping in the 4a side and glassing the canyons into 5b. I did not get the permit to hunt the Hopi Land but have heard mixed reviews, not sure if I should start looking over there or not? Not used to hunting such thick country down south but willing to give it a try. Any help would be appreciated. Heres a few of the glassing spots I found.

I was actually impressed with how quickly they got back to me last year. Good luck with your hunt. 5a has some really nice antelope

Im a little confused by your comment? You can call the Hopi tribe and get permission to access the northern part of the unit. You just have to give them your personal and hunt information and then they give you the gate codes. I have done it before.
