I guess the only way to be sure is to get or make a lockbox for it and chain it to a tree with a masterlock...but even then there is no gaurentee. If someone wants it bad enough their gonna get it, either but cutting down the tree of cutting the chain. Sorry that this crap happened to you. Hopefully that guy will get whats coming to him!

Archery Headquarters is my vote too. I met Randy and his group when I was just a tiny lil' guy and he still remembers my name and my whole family even if I haven't been in there in over 2 years. I feel they do the best work and are VERY knowledgeable on every aspect of hunting and hunting equipment! I remember asking him about some brand new accessories for my bow and he straight up said "that’s a piece of crap and pretty much useless". There is never any sales pressure, just good advice!

Before GPS's were common use I used to worrie about getting turned around so bad that I would get lost, and then make the wrong choice and go the opposite way. But now it would be getting hurt so bad that you can't make it out. Which is how I got my name! (broke my ankle miles away from any road and my buddy said he would leave me there as bearbait!) As for bears or lions, I just hope if I got caught where I couldn't defend myself and one attack, well then I hope they finish the job quickly.

About a month ago I was scouting for bears with my buddy and we finally got to a spot we wanted to glass. Which was 6 miles and 4 mountains from the nearest road. I got out my tri-pod and glasses, took a step off a small boulder and rolled my left ankle on a smaller rock (turns out I BROKE my ankle). So I said to my buddy "You might need to help me out of here", to which he said "F*** THAT, I'll leave you here as BEAR BAIT!!" Long story short, I cut down a small branch and made a make shift crutch and hike out. Started back at 1pm and barely got back to the truck before sun down! good times!!

The elusive unicorn tripod bull! It will be interesting to see how he looks when he is finished, or in a couple years if he stays that way! This would be a great entry into the trail cam contest!

My brother has a Brittney that we name Bella...as in Cabela's Yes, definitely Bella! Looking at him, I can picture him running the field saying "hunt 'em up Bella....good boy!" I know it kinda sounds like a girls name, but I think you can make it work!
