Thanks for sharing. Hold your heads high for giving it your all and you will look back at the memories of this hunt with your son fondly. Good luck on the next hunt.

Thanks for the updates! Awesome stories allowing us to at least live vicariously if we didnt draw an early tag.

Thank you everyone for the information, this gives us a good starting point to look at. I really appreciate it.

Ruby started following New Muzzleloader Set Up
-
Hi Everyone, My Dad won a CVA Accura LR-X .50 cal muzzleloader at the RMEF banquet this last weekend. This is the first muzzleloader either of us have owned or will have ever shot. I was curious what people recommend with in terms of primers, chargers, bullets etc. We are really novices at this so any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the advice azhunter42! 1uofacat-I have a late rifle tag in 22N this year. Next year will be my first applying for archery hunts. I have always been fascinated by bows/archery and have really wanted to get into bow hunting but i dont know anyone that does so I have been a little shy to pull the trigger. I finally talked myself into just taking the plunge and go for it.

Thank you junior71. That is why I posted my question here was i wanted to have some information from actual bow hunters and not rely on a store. i will definitely research all the items you mentioned before making any decisions Thanks again!
