There's an exo in the classifieds if you don't want to wait. I was torn between the exo and a kifaru. I went with kifaru and it has been amazing. The research that I did left me feeling like both are great packs and some preferred the comfort of the exo when it's not fully loaded but it seemed like most guys who have ever had both of them loaded to 80lbs plus preffered the Kifaru. I've had my kifaru loaded heavier than a guy would really want to ever be loaded and it handled the weight like a dream. I'm sold on the Kifaru, especially with all the different options they have, but I wouldn't hesitate to try an exo either. I liked how their bag was layed out when I looked at it.

Never had perch but the boys I know from Michigan prefer bluegill over walleye or perch and they're hardcore walleye fisherman. Where does split tail rank?

It's a toss up between .280 ai and a 3000 psi airbow. -
I would check with all of the small volunteer departments in your area and and even all around the state. He could be a volunteer on multiple departments and be eligible to travel with them out of state. He would be working on an engine rather than a hand crew but some fire time is better than no fire time. When I started I worked solely on an engine for our local department and as I got exposed to more people and more fires I started getting resourced out to hand crews. We had a bunch of guys that lived in different towns that occasionally went out with our engines. If I would have stayed in the game I could have worked for multiple hand crews after only one fire season because of all the different people I met and crews I worked with. Getting on with a volunteer department or semi volunteer department could also be a foot in the door for structure fire fighting also if he ever wanted to go that route.

Mass is always so hard to judge. 38 inches is an insane amount of mass on a slick 3x.

Shhhhh! The buck Nick shot is standing under the tree on the far right side of the last photo Did Nick really shoot that deer? I assumed you or your dad shot it for him since he won't show me the video.

I could totally let the cat out of the bag right now.

I have two gm vehicles and two ford vehicles and only one of them have any issues, and it just so happens to be one of the Fords. My little Chevy work car has been bullet proof. I'm just trolling.
-
My Ford can do anything your Chevy can do except catch on fire.
-
Nothing is colder than the feeling you get when your Chevy suburban starts ticking.
-
At least the door's will still open and the A/C will still work. GM stands for got money? Cuz it gonna cost you some money to keep all the doors and windows working properly in a Chevy.

Her minion shirt sums it up pretty well I'd say.

creed_az_88 replied to C.C.Cody171's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
You did it again Cody. What you have been able to accomplish the last few years with your bow is nothing short of spectacular. There are very few in this world with the determination and dedication that you have. That deer was a sight to behold in his prime. Especially at 50 yards. For the record for anybody reading, I did not PASS on that deer. I would have shot him with any tag and any weapon. It blows my mind how much antler he lost. He is ancient and I remember thinking that he was pretty old when we first found him two years ago. He is definitely not photogenic because that deer is so much more impressive than what he looks like in those pictures. Pictures never do them justice but this is definitely one of those deer that need be held to truly appreciate what he is. 19 inch main beams right? Still having luck with the ladies too. AMAZING.
