I personally knew four people with tags in thsoe units. 2 in each. 3 out of the four tagged out. The guy that didn't tag out wounded two and quit hunting. The little time I spent up there, the rut was insane but finding a herd bull bigger than 320 was very difficult. Possibly the best rut activity I've ever seen. The heat had no effect on the rut activity. Looked at 75+ bulls in 2.5 days while I was there. Glassed more than anything but the bugling never quit.

Awesome bull. I love those fronts. Seemed like alot of the bulls we saw had great fronts and weak backs.

One of the other threads gave me this idea, but let's see your favorite dead heads. I'll start with my favorite. He's not huge but he's cool. Hard to show what he is in pictures.

People drive me nuts too, but, each and every time I have ever had an issue with another hunter, it has been close to the road. So, instead of blaming the peolle, I usually revert back to blaming myself for hunting near a road.

Smoking deal.

I've never tried it but I think hitting the local barbershop and getting a butt load of human hair and then pouring it in the lick could work. At least for awhile.

I've seen it a ton. I believe they're called fibromas. Caused by a virus if I'm not mistaken. I've seen it in both mule deer and couea deer.

Nice arrow choice

It's all luck buddy. These are for my mom. She can out glass me at times so she's the one to watch out for.

Has anybody looked through a set of kowa binoculars? How are kowa spotting scopes so impressive but their binoculars be unspoken of? I've been looking hard for a reasonable review and I just can't find one. I want to buy a family member a pair of high quality but mediocre priced binos and the 12x56 prominars interest me. I like meoptas, so unless the kowas are as good or as close to good as the meoptas then I will probably stick to meoptas. GPO's are also interesting. We're willing to buy used if anybody has anything in the sub $1300 range in 12x or 15x.
