I have had the best luck with browning. They are a little pricey but very good. I also like stealth. I put electrical tape on the sides of the sensor and only leave the middle 1/3 open and that has helped a lot to cut down on false pics with the stealth. I have had several browning up for 6 months in very grassy areas with no tape and very few false pics. Plus the pics and videos are great. They were around 100-110 bucks though. The stealth are around 60 to 70 that I have. The tape has really helped.

I have been going over this same thing for a few years. Got 12s a couple months ago, going to give them a 6 month's try to be sure of the way I want to go. They are not swaro's, 15s are Zeiss and 12s are razors. If I stay with 15 will keep the zeiss and still use 8s and spotter. If go with 12s will just use 12s and spotter. May up grade to ELs or GPOs on 12s but do like the razor's. I will always use the 8s for archery stalks.

I had some velcro straps that would go from top of my calves to my feet when sleeping. Evan used them on several backpack trips. Like I said before the exercise bike really helped me, about 3 or 4 days a week 30 min each.

Exercise bike worked for for me to stretch it. And good inserts in my boots. I use Superfeet I know you can get some custom ones but the $50 Superfeet helped me.

I bring 8s minox, 15s zeiss and 65mm spotter razor. Going to get a pair of 12s soon. Try 15s and 12s for a few months and sell one after I see what works best for me. I will always keep my 8s for archery stalks. Nothing better than 8s on a stalk in my opinion
