complicated. the best sellers are all out of business due to the domestic shipping services and e-BAY seller policies. first thing to do is research 'dimensional weight calculator' for fx or ups. i could never get a 360 set in a box smaller than 20x20x48 inches. good luck, lee biglakejake on ebay

2% on the ML hunt Last year 23 pts was 100% for unit 1 antelope. 12 guys with 22 pts did not draw so it could creep a point this year. If it does, you less than a 5% chance of drawing. my unit 1 app with 23pts this year...maybe just gets another BP. this is gettin' old fast. Thank You Flatlander! lee

quick note: not everyone knows that ATL means a photo of your find 'as they lay' on the ground.

Suggestions on 3/4 Day Charter Trip out of San Diego
biglakejake replied to Siwash's topic in Fishing
as the spring turns to summer seaforth will have the san diego do special 'stand up tuna' 5am to 5pm trips offshore if there are good tuna schools close. in this case 'stand up' doesn't mean a fishing style but the fact that there are no bunks on the boat. fishing can be good but don't be naive-12 hours on the water can be gruelling. once this trip starts they will usually have another 3/4 day boat going to the islands for yellowtail. lee ps: 1/2 day boats are 4-5 hours on the water and 3/4 day trips are 6-7 hours. 3/4 day trips can stretch out the time a couple hours when fishing is good. -

2 weeks out? only 3/4 day trips will be after the forkies by then.......the overnight and day-and-a-half boats will be venturing out west chasing bft and yft. private boaters and 6 pack charters will be on the yellows at the coronado islands and the rockpile. for forkies suggest the mission belle and the san diego. lee

far easier to just pick a limited load open party 1.5 or 2 day trip a-ways off and get the word out that some of yer bunch will be going on that specific trip-no personal financial responsibility beyond yourself and family. lee

bass fishing is nearly always good if you are willing to adapt. from nightcrawlers to pop-r's you can always get something to go. its them crappie fishermen that seem to always say the fishing is slow. good luck, lee

Suggestions on 3/4 Day Charter Trip out of San Diego
biglakejake replied to Siwash's topic in Fishing
the san diego out of seaforth is the easiest but h&m will have a 3/4 day boat also-the malihini. crowds are prohibitive on 3 day weekends but the view and ocean are nice anyway. memorial day fishing is what started the term 'cattle boats' for san diego and la open party fishing. try to weasel yer way into a charter group. good luck, lee
