On my radar app, I'm seeing the Monsoon stirring down south. yea isee that also. they call them a 'mesoscale thunderstorm complex'. just south of douglas in the sierra madres. computer programs can't compute them. outflow you can feel on the rim for about 10 hours lee

pretty wild in san diego i read that right now they were saying to bring straight 50lb mono because with the spectra braid the hooks are pulling on the big tuna when they get close to the boat with no stretch. i want to go over there, but san diego is in california. but the good news is-only half of california is in california. the better half of california is in mexico !

ok you salty sonsob's what happens to guides with extreme braided line? fishing 100# braid for 50-100lb grouper in the sea of cortez midriff-not tuna or billfish. no speed involved. what does it do to standard guides? roller guides? any input would be welcomed as i have had zero experience with braid and fish. will it cut through ss guides ? roller guides ? worried about keeping fingers it is so small of diameter. lee
