i went a mbb tournament at apache and the big smallies that won it looked like they had been thawed out. boy did i ever catch some nice bass walking in to the cove behind the marina. killed my first mule deer buck above the marina on that highest peak between bush hiway and saguaro lake guest ranch and my second mulie on the other side of the river in 24b. lee

Navajo County Sheriff's Office Like This Page · 1 hr · ***NEWS RELEASE*** FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE For more information Contact: Deputy Chief David Clouse (928)524-4050 Dead Cows in Navajo County HOLBROOK, AZ – On September 9, 2018, a local rancher in Heber area reported to the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office two cows were discovered deceased in the area of Forest Road 9886T, Phoenix Park Wash area west of Heber/Overgaard. Navajo County Deputies responded to the area to conduct an investigation into the dead cows. On 09/11/18, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office received another report of approximately fourteen more cattle that were found deceased in the same area. On 09/12/18 with help from the State Veterinary’s Office, the deceased cattle were evaluated and processed for evidence. Several samples were collected from the cattle for lab analysis to determine the cause of death. Initial reports that were received indicated the cattle may have been shot and killed. However, further investigation indicates that the cattle have all appeared to have suffered from a natural occurring ecological poisoning, due to the current conditions in the forest. The results of the toxicology reports are pending from the AZ State lab. Other reports have also been received from other nearby ranchers as well. So far, the total number of cattle deceased is 24 in the Heber / Overgaard area. The case is under investigation by members of the Sheriff’s Office including the criminal investigations unit and AZ Livestock. U.S. Forest Service and AZ Game and Fish have been contacted and are assisting as well with the investigation.

this past sunday i was only 2 minutes from the hospital when my tongue started swelling and cutting off my airways. i walked in and had a bed in 2 minutes. 1 minute after that i answered yes to taking my lisinopril bp meds and was immediately given orders for benedryl, epinephrine, adrenaline, another steroid and they posted an airway tech in the room and started thawing out plasma. yea. stayed conscious throughout and declined the airway even though could not swallow or talk and later things improved rapidly. back to work in 3 hours. anyway it appears that after 8 years on lisinopril myself and others are facing life threatening toxic reactions to it. thousands of cases all across the country for about 18-24 months now. new bp meds prescribed now and told to never touch another lisinopril. whoulda thunk it? lee ps this happened 16 months ago to a lesser degree and not one mention of any hint at a cause during and after that episode from docs.

i was finishing up the graveyard shift locked in the cashiers' cage at hon-dah casino. they would not let us out until end of shift at 10am so i heard little reports from the floor. 'a plane hit a building in ny' and 'a little airplane crashed into an army office'. i had been killing time writing a poem about fire and sunsets before the reports came in and i wadded it up and threw it away. went back and dug it out of the trash before i left and watched replays of the towers falling. what i remember most was having a hard time believing i was really seeing cars in line at mcdonalds and that blue ridge high school was in session. just dazed. lee
