perhaps we have strayed off topic some. there is way to much time wasted on here with fishing, gunsmithy and classified types of posts. maybe we could support a new fishing site run by recurve or trophy? get an all new mule deer website off the ground with..say lancetkenyon or 218buck in charge. even a law and order website with NoBull ramrodding it. a new wildlife photography site run by bc777? after all there is nothing like the coues deer - why even hunt for anything else? or....maybe not................ lee

All roads to Big Lake officially opened April 15th. The ice is completely off the lake! The lake, store, marina, and disperse camping is open. Please note, that on normal years, the campgrounds and facilities do not open until May 15th. This is not a normal year and we don't have an exact day for them to open yet. I promise as soon as we get that date I will post it to Facebook! The fishing report has been good. Same days have been better than others, but for the most part people are catching. Use cold water baits and maybe even try a gold lure or a green fly. Reports tell us to fish between 4feet and 8feet about 30 feet from the shore. Your Big Lake Family is excited that the 2020 season has begun. We look forward to see you all very soon.

close to home now. my sons' best friend and neighbor is on a ventilator since last evening. they put in together but did not get drawn for antlerless. they have been off limits/isolated for weeks because the wife is an icu nurse who has worked covid mortality cases. shoot this is close to home-i know the guy a lttle, great family, nice neighborhood, bright future. here on the mountain i still don' know anyone who even knows someone who is stricken. lee
