thats a 200+lb bigeye. vendetta out of H&M got one today but that is not the vendetta. from the bird with squid spreader and menhaden puke looks like northeast US.

i was thinking about this being a hunting forum and what most of the diehard must think of us gettin' all whacked out over a can of tuna. it like this................like a big bull bugle from 10 yds behind you and you recognize his voice as the herd bull you are after. watching two 100"+ coues go at it on a slope so steep they are causing a constant landslide just across the canyon shotgunning a called in 'yote so close that as it dies its tail is twitching agin yer foot and you can smell the blood. the first 30 seconds of a hookup is like that...thats the addiction for me at least. lee

the fire captain next door has one of those 200# shimanos'. i don't understand it must be global warming or some shoot. they sure look better than my old shimano 'tuna taker' rods-one of those was stick #1 circa 1986 lee

take it easy its just for fun-its only a very small religion. but if we see tuna shirts being used for vehicle seat covers we will have to do an intervention. lee one skippers recs Tackle recommendation: 1. A flyline setup with good fresh 25 or 30lb monofilament matched with equal test flurocarbon and 1/0 to 2/0 owner mutu circle hooks. 2. A 40 pound jig stick for Daiwa SP minnows, Zakana jigs and SK jigs. 3. 60 to 80 pound outfit with a two speed reel. 4-6 ounce torpedo sinkers and heavy duty rubber bands.

the boats and landings are sponsored-at the very least w free line-by izorline and trilene. the ande, maxima and triplefish brands are far improved over those two.

i just booked it online. i think i will stay sunday night at ak chin on maricopa rd and get a couple hundred miles off the mountain before the drive monday. nothing is set in stone for me however except boarding at 8pm monday. my tackle is mostly shoot but i will bring it all-just got a fluoro delivery saturday 25, 30, 40# kinda wound up here-haven't wound line and burned gas since 2008. sorry Kev if i sounded like i was losin' it--- i am! lee 928-207-0432
