hatchery guys pack buckets of fish several hundred yard up or downstream from creekside parking lots. they are sort of time limited on how far they can go. these guys love their jobs!

shortfin are a special kind of pain and frustration. no other fish gets more "what just happened? where did he go?" moments than bft. great writeup sir and honored by the morning visit. you did good, and that Outrider operation is a rare bunch! that's one way to git a can or 2 of tuna huh? lee

Well every one of us 7 cwt thought the world of Capt Patrick & the decks. They worked hard & fast trying to get pickles and the birthday boy a fish. And the #2skipper was Mr. Ben Griffith-running sd boats since 1959. If there were sour notes at all I did not hear them

if i had a bucket list...and that kind of disposable income...think i would buy the ranch. a ranch north of hermosillo and south of cananea. then do some horse tradin' and coues huntin'-maybe hire lark or lance as ranch manager. buy a gulfstream and hire an air america pilot. still short of what this dude spent for that bull. it is gorgeous! and typical. any greenscore yet? 440 on that seems weak. lee ps that poached bull last year-the 430ish one-looks like a dink compared to this monster

note to all. don't wait to buy sinkers in californica-no lead sinkers, lead bullets or lead wheel weights. the sinkers are much bigger now and made of zinc usually.

thats impressive. bumped up the pressure some? is loading data held to a lower level because of the m99 and m1920? thanks. but a lifetime of collecting roberts dies leaves a full drawer-even a lee loader set!

just a thought. i wound miles n miles of ande commercially in tempe in the '80's. payed for wound line the next 10 years. winders will make it look pretty but not one shop will burn out a winder motor putting tension on-they get very hot just filling a 50w. all those guys winding trailed line off the stern had their reels wound at a shop. lee

any input y'all? need to choose between a new kimber 84H in .257 rob or a ruger m77 tang safety ultra light .250sav in pristine condition. money's the same. being a quarter bore nut ain't easy. lee

I don't think anybody in my experience has made videos as good as TripleWall. yea just a little loud. hardcore zonie crew fishing for Trophy Yellow Tail Tuna. didn't declan used to be on cwt?

they are yours now, just about nobody will wind your line. if they have a winder it is a moneymaker with the almost free line they buy. don't worry about initial dry wind. just drop the spool in a 5 gallon bucket of water and wind on finger tight. yea you can take a break to get the feeling back in your fingers. just make sure line rolls off and doesn't spin off the end of the spool. once on the boat and heading out past the bait receivers you will see the guys on the stern feeding their line out about 4 hundred yard and doing a careful layer wind back in. lots of tension at first for solid base and then decreasing tension as you get to working line length...go tie your leader and you are ready for morning battle. this is for 40+ line don't even worry about the 20, 25, 30#. lee
