SuperiorBowHunter replied to SuperiorBowHunter's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
i know crazy huh a guy would want something better then the guy next to him with all the latest gear! Wow you never hear that story! Doesn't mean i am "ALL AIRPORT TEAM"... I really was being honest how cool would it be to have something that was limited edition, am i the only one that really thinks that way? Anyway what i was asking is if anyone had shot the Matrix and thought that it was worth the money because everything that i read says that this bow the guys say that this is like the next coming of jesus practically! So, i was wondering if any of you had shot it and felt the same! And every bodies opinion it going to be considered! Thanks guys as always you never seem to disapoint with stirring people in the right direction. -

Swarovski Spotting Scope 80mm Vs. 65mm
SuperiorBowHunter replied to SuperiorBowHunter's topic in Optics and tripods
you guyt have had all really helpful things to saw and i think i am either going with the Swaro spotter or the Kowa spotter but i am also thinking about the Zeiss Spotter I heard that this scope is better at longer range then the swaro and i read that the Kowa was the best at long range with a dual knob that make it easier and nicer to use... either way i would like to spend a week with all of them before i really make a decision. So what i would like to hear from all you guys out there is what you would chose and why this would really help me out and remember think as if your pockets were deep enough to cover them all without problems! and also the set up you would use! I would like to use the manfroto with the jim white head but i would like to hear from you all -

You guys are totally missing my point there alot of people out there having money problems and are getting rid of there optics bc of hard time! I for one hope that I am never in that spot but if I can help someone out and get a good deal then both sides win! I visit criagslist on a regular basis andwould never buy things of this sort from eBay! You have to be very smart I agree but you can see look and examine all the products before buying! Come on guys you are way missing the point! Be smart out there guys! And remember if you can help out and have the means to help out a fellow hunter going through hard time do it wouldn't you want one of us to do the same for you? It's not like I am buying stuff out of a long dark alley in some van behind a building! These are real people with real problems and if I can help out I think all of us should I could be you or me that has to pay their mortgage or but food on my families table! I love this site but sometimes you guys are way to negative! Ofcourse we are not dumb enough to pay a few hundred dollars on something without doing some homework or at least I hope we all are! Either way happy scouting to all my fellow hunters and good luck on the draw!

Guys I posted in another forum but was so excited I wanted to post here too! I'm finding some amazing optic deals on the Internet right now because of people trying to get rid of somethings! I upgraded my rangefinders to the swarovski rangefinders! Guys I really think this guy had no idea what he had! Anyone interested getting optics right now is the best time just like the housing market best time to buy! Look around guys! I picked up these rangefinders from a nice elderly man who got a elk tag last year he let me take them of his hands to 500! I think they had only been pulled out 4 times! Anyways god luck out there guys!
-
Great point I got mine through craigslist the local guys are always better to deal through I have a friend that fell for that swarovski ebAy scam to0! I wouldn't by anything I couldn't first see with my hands! You guys gotte admit an amazing find!

The same old equipment from last year but i wanted to brag a bit i guess!!!lol I upgraded my rangefinders and picked up the Swarovski Rangefinders from Criaglist from this nice eldery gentlemen that purchased them for his Elk hunt last year! Guys I really did steal them from this guy but i paid exactly what he asked for them and he sold his 10x40 ELs for 1000.......I paid 500 for this bad boys! I went out and used them this weekend and they ranged up to 1900 plus yards! Swarovski continue to blow everyone away!!!!! -

Hey guys i am looking for some optics to add to my collection! I am interested in picking up a good rangefinder and a spotting scope and with time the way they are right now, it makes no sense to buy brand new when there are so many people that need the money out there and are trying to get rid of some stuff! well get back to me if you feel like asking me about anything you might wanna get rid of out there guys! Also looking to pick up the Spot Hog 7 dp. Red Bear "Keep Couesin"

rangefinders and spotting scopes
SuperiorBowHunter replied to SuperiorBowHunter's topic in Optics and tripods
thx i appriciate the offer but i am looking for either a pair of leica crf 1200 or the swaros and i like the nikons. nt that there is anything against what else is out there. But with optics i believe you get what you pay for! Now that may piss some people off but i know if everyone could afford leica or swarovski we would all have them! I am just not willing to pay full price right now when i could possibly help out one of my fellow hunters that may have lost their job or could use the cash right now! So if any one is willing to get rid of your rangers left me know guy i lost a pair the otherday on craigslist that i was an hour late......dang i was mad!!!!!!! good luck out there guys cant wait for all of the shed pix! -
to be honest with you i would prefer the crf to the lrf. Not because they good but they are so easy to use..... what model is that 900 u wanna get ride of and how old is it?
-
Anyone out there have either the Leica or the Swarovski rangefinders and wanna get rid of them?

Is a guided hunt as satisfying as do-it yourself?
SuperiorBowHunter replied to lousyhunter's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I would like to throw in my own two sense! There is nothing more rewarding in life then to do something on your own and be succesful. That being said there are still alot of ways in which a guide is needed if you do not know the unit and do not have the time to scout the unit and dont know alot or consider yourself a seasoned hunter than i think it is a must for those people! You could hurt someone or worse hurt someone else! There are many different reasons. And after this season what I have seen there is good reason for why they are so profitable. You take it for granted that everyone that goes hunting knows what they are doing. I was on a few elk hunt this year and came across hunters that did not know how to gut an elk! What needed to come out and how to skin and prepare their animals for the butcher! If you do not know what you are doing that tag that took you soooo long to draw means nothing because you dont know what to do with it when it is killed! I field dressed a total of 2 bulls and 2 cows this years and not to mention the many camps I passed with the heads of the elk still on the body passed day 3 with the esophagus still probably in the animals. So yes it is more rewarding to take an animal on your own with all the work being done by yourself but for those who are first time hunters or those still learning the sport there is more to hunting than just harvesting the animal! Keep Couesin!!!!!!!
