I have two Rhino Evolution XP-1 ground blinds that I bought in December 09. I only need 1, so would like to sell the other. It's been set up in the field two times, and does have one arrow hole in the shoot through netting. Aside from that, the blind is basically brand new. These blinds get great reviews, and honestly, I'll never own another primos double bull. Customer service is excellent (sent me new carbon rods on two occasions without asking questions, when my brushed in blind couldn't take the weight of 8" of snow last December). I'm selling the blind that I didn't replace rods in. Brushed in. December 2009. Call me or PM me with questions or interest. The blind is in the White Mountains right now, but I'll have it in the Chandler area middle of next week. $200 firm. Jay 928-432-3073

how does this differ from the claw? -
I think everyone is pretty much there. I made this illustration to show the movement of water in the ground. It's always being pulled by gravity toward the center of the earth. Some of the soils and rock are porous, and the water moves through them over time. Then the moving water will run into a non-porous rock like granite, and will either pool up, or move laterally depending upon the slope of the bedrock. When the surface is lower than the bedrock, the water moving laterally along the rock will re-surface creating a spring or a seep, and there may be deciduous trees like cottonwoods around it. If it's deep under the surface we call it an aquifer, but the principle is the same. I think in the case of the seep that Mason A found (what a find!), it looks to be an extremely steep slope, and judging from the old stumps and dead trees and such, perhaps there was some mass movement in the soils at one time that exposed the granite, making the seep possible, other wise the water would have continued to move toward the bottom where it would hit exposed bedrock in a creek bed and move as part of the creek system.

if you'll be packing the glass in much I'd probably go with the swarovski, especially the ATM, which is sligthly lighter even that the ATS models. check out the weight differences, both glass is excellent, can't go wrong with either.

just because a celebrity endorses a product doesn't necessarily mean you're going to pay more for it. if that celebrity endorsement leads to increased sales and larger scale economies for the producer, that signature may actually mean you pay less for it. it's a propaganda campaign of marketers who aren't paying for endorsements to say that if you buy an endorsed product you're paying more for it. it sometimes is the case, and sometimes isn't. hopefully the company who is offering the endorsed product justified it prior to writing the check. if you like the product, and feel its a superior product to alternatives, and the value of the product is worth the expense, who cares how the producer goes about marketing them. I'm with you though, I think a lot of the marketing and product design in the hunting industry is borderline tacky. just cos you can add a signature to a target's packaging doesn't mean you should. and how many additional companies are going to draw deer skulls to use as logos?

Guys and Gals, I am in a marketing class in school, and for a project I'm working on I have to evaluate a product I use... I chose Google Earth as it relates to sportsmen. I'd really appreciate your help, or any comments. Jay

back for sale. $150 J107 Dragonfly pack with super duffle and extension straps. modifications made to the pack, described below. I didn't need the super spike as anything but a zip attachment to make the pack larger, so I cut the handle off the bottom side of the super spike. The top handle is still there. I cut some of the webbing from the right side of the pack. I cut all of the webbing from the left side of the pack, unfortunately I was a little sloppy and cut three very small holes in the pocket material. I cut the hydration and hip belt from the lit attachment and the webbing. I then reattached the needed webbing to fit the lid attachment to the lid. I've carried my 15's in the lid over 20 miles this season without a problem, but I imagine a new one could be purchased. I also cut the net material from the sides, because the straps compression straps were not long enough to compress a fully loaded super spike without a water bottle here, let alone with it. I do have extra hardware from cabelas that makes the compression straps plenty long for the super spike. It's still a great pack... and will carry more than your legs are likely too. I just don't have a need for this one for the next few years. Call me or PM me if interested. Jay 928-432-3073

If it didn't have holes I'd be asking much more than $150.
