I have a pair of Irish Setter boots as well which are as comfortable as can be... I dont think you could go wrong with either that or a pair of danners.
-
I strongly believe in Danners..... I have had my current pair for 5 years with many many miles on them, they are still comfortable and waterproof.

Time for a name change!

I think you shall now be named Master Debator -
You probably drew 2nd choice in the 20% max point pool, but were not in the 20% group for your first choice. Gr8 White Jr went through this for javalina, sent letters to GFD, If you want to know more about it, contact him, he would have more info than I on this subject

I think he looks more like a Winston to me.

My Garage, I work and tune all of my bows myself. Was tired of not getting the best work from places. I had my bow tuned at corner, went to pick it up and get the peep set, during that time the guy burned my string, didn’t have another one, so I had to wait yet another week, wasn’t even able to answer the simplest questions on the setup.... was just a pain in the a$$. I bought a portable bow press, and a bow vise, and never looked back... My bows have been shooting better than I thought they ever would. If you want to know about setting up a bow, don’t talk to someone in a shop, talk to someone who shoots tournaments on a regular basis who are perfectionist on their setups. Age old saying..... If you want it done correctly. Do it yourself.

I'm not sure if you are asking me or RoughCut, but I put in solo - I don't know anyone named Chris that has the hunt (or anyone at all for that matter). No it was for you.. I should of specified. I know a guy from that area who put in and got drawn for 16 as well.
-
You didnt get drawn with chris did you?

Ok third check cashed today... Im happy to know at least they have my money. -
I havent been real impressed with the wisker biscuit... it tears up your fletching awful quickly from what I experienced. I have been shooting a Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter for over two years now... It is a very simple and strong design... No fletching contact. Very Accurate.. and has never failed. It was also extemely easy to set up and shoot. I have never had an arrow fall of the rest either. From the time I have put it on my bow the only thing else I have added to it was a little piece of felt and that has been it. With a rest like the wisker biscuit through time you have to replace your fletches a little sooner then normal and then later it would be the biscuit... Depending on how long you plan on keeping it can be costly to keep it in good shape. If you come across some wet weather and the biscuit gets wet.. then it is going to shoot differently. I dont know. When I look for anything on my bow, I look for the strongest, most dependable thing I can find. I have never heard or experienced anything bad regarding the Trophey Taker.

But boy did he smell... whew.. I let Gr8 white jr field dress him as i stood up wind.. he was the worst smelling deer i think we both have ever came across.
