I decided to go with the outdoorsmans setup myself. The phone adapter is not specific to any phone or camera. When I upgrade my phone I don't have to go and buy another case for it. The adapter just attaches with double sided tape. Works great.

Rugged is an understatement. Lots of elk in that unit though. I wouldn't overlook the lower pinyon juniper country either.

Last year's buck

Tons of deer. Most of the roads are in good shape. Lots of road hunters though. Expect to see some good elk and maybe a bear or two. I hunted the rifle hunt last year. Shot my buck on the 4th day. Saw so many deer stopped counting.

just get in the habit of wearing ear protection regardless of what I shoot. I put this one on my latest rifle which is a 6.5 Grendel. The rifle doesn't have a whole lot of kick to begin with compared to others but with this break the rifle can be shot with one hand all day long
