Play the hunters to your advantage, get up on a hill side that you will have a good advantage point sit and glass all day. Most of those bucks will hold tight, it takes a lot of patients just sit and glass and glass. I have sat on those hills for 3 or 4 hours glassing only to get frustrated then out of no where there's a buck. Just my opinion if it were my tag I would still hunt the southern part of the unit, lots of good bucks down there. Good luck on your hunt.

Sorry it's so big I don't know how to fix it

24a is a very good unit to hunt whitetail in, here's a couple photo's of a buck that I have been watching.

I don't know what you are talking about....... or should I say don't remember????? I remember and I also have those photos of Manny around 10 and also around 1am if you want to see them.

I just think it looks tacky. We all know what kind of service that Mullins provides. I don't think they need to use a beauty of a harvest in that manner. Looks tacky?? I don't see where your gettin that. When a outfitter can put 6 400+ bulls on the ground in just a short few years that has other individuals worried about their success as an outfitter and feel that they need to steal photos and try to take credit for stuff that is not theirs. So these individuals get on these sites do nothing but bash to try and make themselves look better. Anybody that puts the time, dedication and heart into their hunts can have the same success as the Mullins Team. I have known these boys for 15+ years and I can tell you that they are the most respectful and honest hunters and outfitters that I have ever known.

Manny I got some great photos on my camera if you want some.

I can tell you guys this, If you guys are thinking around 400 your way low It was one of the most difficult early hunts I've ever been on. Thats all I'm gonna say I'll let some other members of the Mullins Team post pictures and the story when they get home.

Terry well put. Years ago on a AZ coues tag I had a close friend an I glassed up a buck that would have gone about 115 but like you said there was a canyon between us. The buck ranged out at just over 600 yds an at the time I couldn't shoot those distances so I didn't take the shot. After two hours of watching the buck of my dreams come an go well not so much as go because to this day there is not a dream, that buck does not show up in. An since that day I have spent many hours out at the range so I can make that ethical long range shot next time an this is what pushed me into long range shooting not being lazy... Bryan

Does anybody have any input on the dixon broadhead tuner? I was thinking about buying one , or is their any others that work better?

I bought two tables for the ADA banquet for Saturday May 10th 2008 and I have two extra tickets to sit at our table for anyone who wants to go as long as they are coueswhitetail.com members. First reply gets the tickets.

I am leaving in about an hour. I would hate for someone not to take them otherwise they are just going to waste.
-
I Did not tell you first reply gets them free as long as you are a coueswhitetail member. Let me know asap.

Thanks for the input Bownut. I bought a couple of Hoyt's for my wife and I last year. I got drawn for a couple of archery hunts this year and I can't seem to get my broadheads tuned right. I've tried doing it old school and I'm pulling my hair out trying to get two broadheads to fly alike.

Browning 25 super short If you've ever had a gun that's fits like a glove you'll know what I'm talking about. I've always been a fan of a 270, that I've taken bears, lion, antelope, muleys, coues and elk with. For Christmas I got the Browning 25 super short for my wife but I think she lost it. I haven't hunted much with it but I took a couple of hogs recently one at 200 yards and another at 419 yards and it droped them dead in their tracks. The 270 might get some dust on it now that I have the 25 super short.

Not sure if this was directed to me but if it was I would like to say I have lived and hunted in AZ all my life and I bust my butt as much anyone else to find places to hunt. Thanks for all the great info about this new magazine since that is what my original post was for. And Lionslayer welcome to the best site on the net you can get some great info on here just don't ask about new magazines about hunting in AZ. Or read on the crapper. Officially un-subscribed to this thread. See you all some place else! Bownut I personally think it was a great thread to start and the way I read it it's towards Canyon State Hunter not you. I'm not so sure I like the idea of this magazine and thats all I'm going to say so nobody gets offended.
