My cousin finally gave this buck a dirt knap, he was on him two days in a row. He spotted him bedded in the open at 200 yards the buck gets up stretches and starts walking straight towards him all the way to 60 yards and after an all day tracking job he sealed the deal on his first archery buck!

I wish I had something to post for myself but my buddy smoked this buck today at 30 yards, it has a green score of 227 p&y, its the only pic he sent me so far. Its not a kiabab or strip buck. I'm sure he will have some video and better pix on his Facebook page at Mac Outfitters, look him up!

I haven't checked this posting in a few days my hands have been tied, Loren has asked me not to post anymore pix until he puts his watermark on it. I myself had a lot of Q's that needed to be clarified and now understand why he told me where he originally shot it because he knew if it got out everyone would soon realize these giant park matriarchs are indeed vary killable and unless proven otherwise he has accomplished this amazing achievement. Loren is one of the best hunters I know(and luckiest) he spends an unbelievable amount of time in the woods and find myself jealous at times because of it. He is just getting his foot in the door with his guiding and horn buying outfit and don't think he would do anything to jeopardize that. If AZGFD or federal fish and game has any questions all they have to do is give him a call or go to his house and he will give every detail about his hunt. I have yet to hold the antlers myself but from pix and video this deer is impressive but definitely strange looking, at its closest point it is 7 1/2" from g2 to g2 with a 17" inside spread and just under 23" outside with the cheaters. After seeing all the pix and vid of this buck the buck will probably be greatly missed to those who have fed petted and befriended this giant buck. I do think this buck lived well over 90% of his life or more in the Grand Canyon National Park but that 10% or 5 or 1% he didn't, proved to be fatal and the buck jumped the fence for a last time.

Have you put a tape on that beast?!...

That's nuts, cool pic. I just sent it to him.

Pix, draw length, poundage, color?
-
He definitely had a light coat, he looked like a ghost when we walked up on him looking at us. He just hopes the taxidermist can save his cape, all that lite colored hair is molting off and in some places doesn't have any hair...

Unfortunately no, completely different units.

Poundage and draw length?

So this weekend I had an excellent time archery deer hunting minus the two misses one of which was due to my RF not gathering enough lite at dusk, this has always been an issue with all RF's I have owned and this weekend it cost me a 185+ buck. The RF I have is a Nikon laser 440. My question is which RF is the best in low light situations that is not a range finding bino, I definitely think it has to be the swaro or leica, any and all info regarding any rangefinder would be appreciated?

I was in 8 and 11m this weekend. Saw a 370+ bull bachelored up with a few other nice bulls, a bear, turkey, javelina, antelope, and a bunch of whitetail does in 8. And got on some real nice bucks in 11m.

Unfortunately I missed two really good bucks this weekend but finding this beautiful set made up for it.

I think the post they are arguing about got deleted. I myself have two bows, WB on one, limb driver on the other, for me the WB is excellent and accurate at long ranges. All my previous hunting bows I have always shot and been very successful with fallaway rests, trophy ridge pronghorn and my favorite rest called the cavalier avalanche but unfortunately does not fit my short brace height bow. -
Lol, that's funny! I didn't notice that either, how far back in the archives did you have to go to find this post?!...

I think a lot of people have had a bad experience with Rhonda's.

Coconino does a great job and their easy access right off I-40 and cosnino. Casey's is in BFE.

My Monster xlr8 shoots a 410 grain arrow at 332fps and is just as quiet as my buddies Hoyt spider 30 shooting the same arrow at 285. Only difference is by the time an animal jumps my string my arrow will have already poured straight through him. ;-) In my opinion you could buy any bow regardless of the make and shoot lights out with it, every bow company seems to make a quality bow these days...
