I live in Prescott and haven't heard anything like that..... but you never know.

What the heck are they talking about?

The real key point here is that Arizona is already an OPEN CARRY state. That means that pretty much anyone can cary a gun in public as long as it's not concealed. No registration, no classes, no back ground check. Buy a gun and strap it on your belt. So in effect, our current CCW laws are not keeping any law abiding citizen from their 2nd Ammendment rights to bear arms. If Arizona were not already an open carry state I would be all for removing our current CCW laws, or making it an open carry state so that no one was denied the right to bear arms. In other words... everyone should be allowed to at least open carry without taking a class, registration, back ground check, etc. I think that for most people, including myself, the 8 hours spent in class is time and money well spent! -
Biggest Waste of Human time and resources known to man

I would like to have a survey of PETA followers conducted. I would really like to know how many of the card carrying members of PETA are also Pro Choice? I'll bet the numbers would be shocking. This fly story is so stupid it makes me laugh! Just proves to me that PETA people are a wast of space on this planet. -
Are cross bred snakes sterile or can they reproduce?

Mike will snakes cross breed?

Don't the Rino's have a limited range that they are capeable of working within? Wouldn't you have to be within that operating range with your Rino turned on at the same time the rotten thief turned his on? Kinda sounds like a long shot to me

Sorry about your loss. I've had 4 stolen and two vandalized over the years so I feel your pain. I just wanted to comment on locking up your cameras in the future. Locking your camera will do nothing but give you a false sense of security. It will keep honest folks honest, but if a scum bag thief wants your camera he's gonna get it. The best thing you can do to protect your cameras is to put them where no one will find them. Good luck!

Got a couple pic's of Sasquatch if that's what you're talking about... only females though You need to stay on your side of the mountain Gino!

Yep, you probably can. I was surprised how many bucks would hit that thing! Had my camera there for two months, two summers ago and had quite a few small bucks hitting it on a regular basis. If a guy weren't very picky I'll bet he could fill his archery tag there without too much trouble. I haven't been back there since I pulled the camera two years ago.

Only small bucks and does...

Ok! Ok! I can't take any more of the mental anguish. The sleepless nights and horrifying nightmares of being hunted down like a animal and murdered for being a lowlife trail camera stealing thug. I confess!!!! It was me and my accomplice Shorty! To proove it I will post the last picture the camera took before we chopped the lock and boosted the camera. I wish I could have returned the camera with a note of apology like you asked, but Shorty sold it on the black market for a couple packs of baseball cards and Duncan yo-yo. I wanted to say something sooner but Shorty has a real nasty temper and I didn't want to cross him. Please accept my most sincere apologies and let me know if there is anything I can do to repay you!

I own a Ziess Conquest, Nikon Monarch, and a Vortex Viper scope. The Ziess is better glass, but also nearly twice as much money. The Nikon and Vortex are similar quality, but the Vortex has an awesome warranty. If the money isn't a factor go with the Ziess Conquest. If you're trying to stay within a budget take a close look at the Vortex Viper line. Just my .02

Congratulations on a great tag! My buddy and I drew that hunt last year and had a great time. Of the Arizona units you have listed I have hunted 22 and 31 and I would say it's kind of like hunting the terrain of 31 with the deer numbers of 22. Seeing 8-12 deer a day with a buck or two per day was about the norm. I passed a couple 90 inchers and my buddy shot a nice 92 inch buck on the last morning. If I were you I would call Tommy at Gila Wilderness Hunting and inquire about his map service. We used it and it was spot on. You will find out quickly that there are not coues deer spread out evenly across the Burros. Like many coues areas in AZ they are in pockets and are very spotty. You could spend a lot of time and gas money and still not accomplish what you will get from him. Tommy lives in the unit and knows exactly where to put you and he's also a sponsor of the site. http://www.gilawildernesshunting.com/

Congrats on the draw Tim and good luck! Looks like its gonna be a great year (hopefully you can get enough time off). Already looking forward to the pictures. Phil Phil, that's one of the perks of being self employed

I got a couple emails from NM G&F a little while ago. One says I drew a Burro Mountian rifle mule deer tag and the other says I drew a rifle antelope tag! Now I have two antelope tags for September! This is the fourth year out of the last five that I have drawn a NM antelope tag!!!

Yes, as Amanda pointed out it does have the three shot capeabilities. In my opinion with the SD cards having 2 or more gigs of memory there is no reason not to set it to three shots. I've had numerous pictures in the past that showed a promising lookin buck that moved away before another picture could be taken. The three shot option can often solve that anoying problem. Mike, I know the solar panel is a practical solution to paying the price for batteries, but in my opinion it acts like a signal beacon leading scum bag theives right to your expensive camera. I'd rather pay a little extra for batteries and keep the camera well hidden than have to buy a new camera when a puke theif takes it. Just my .02 Here's an example of a three shot series of two bucks fighting like does.

It was put on the back burner for awhile. For now it's still ok to use salt.

If that statement is true (and I think it might be) Americans ought to be ashamed of themselves!!!!

Hey guys a few months ago I got a DLC Covert II with security box to test and review. I've owned at least 10 different kinds of trail cameras over the years including home brews and this one takes the cake. I hope to have my evaluation finalized and posted in the next couple days. Stay tuned for the full write up.

Yes Jason it was all made crystal clear when Rush completley ignored the situation. Furthermore the hunting community shouted back a response of indefference by not holding him accountable Hope that answers the question I'm starting to realize that hunters and gun owners have a lot that we could learn from all the anti groups. We are very reactive they are very proactive. Proaction = Reaction with a plan.

This is not a question of weather your copper bullets performed well on deer north of the Grand Canyon. This is a question of weather or not you want to have more of your hunting and gun rights taken away by left wing activist groups. Who cares if your bullets flew straigt or left a good blood trail. None of that matters. We need to stop letting new laws like this creep in on our hunting and second ammendment rights.

I have hunted with Dan for the past three years now and have had nothing but a great experience each time. Dan puts a lot of effort into these hunts and as the pictures have shown it pays off. Mexico is a magical place when it comes to trophy coues deer and each year I've spent down there seems to get better than the previous. We always enjoy good food, good accomidations, and good company. For the most part we have hunted from sun up to sun down and we usually see a ton of deer! The pictures speak for themselves on the trophy quality! I believe every serious coues deer hunter should make it a point to spend a week chasing big bucks in Mexico and there's no better place to do it than with Dan Bishop at Cola Blanca Outfitters!

hello- Sorry - i hope this wasn't how it was meant -- rightfully his area !? That alone would have my hackle up - ok it's only archery deer - but bottom line - nobody can lay claim to a specific spot just because they hunted the area in years past . - ok - you compromise and move on- how many times are you gonna be willing to move on ! Gary He's just being sarcastic

Gino if you're like me there are two things going through your mind. First, who does this SOB think he is and I'll show him where the little bear pooped in the forest! Second, oh well if there are going to be other people hunting this spot I don't want to be here anyway. Move on. You've got better places to hang your stand than this one and it's not worth your tax money being used to throw you in jail after you clean this guys clock!
