You can bet if I would have heard about it when it happened me and my brother Darrel and my other Brother Darrel would have been there to get a few, We are out of Elk meat. Hey Mike I think I saw your brother Darrel at Walmart the other night...
-
Got these in an email this morning. I think it sheds a positive light on the hunters that were able to get salvage permits and put the meat to good use.

Just for you Tommy... He's probably the smallest antelope I've ever shot, but this hunt wasn't about the size of the horns it was about the size of the smile on my son's face. I'll post up a new topic with the details about this hunt and my AZ antelope hunt in the next day or so.

Stumpy & Zeus beware... TAM just dropped the hammer on a NM antelope yesterday at 525 yards. He's dialed in and coming for you!!!

What a tease Blake!!! At least I got to hear the story over the phone and didn't have to wait. Congratulations on a great buck!!!! I hope you smeared some blood on my blind to give it some good mojo

What distance is your muzzleloader sighted in at?
TAM replied to Redman's topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
I'm shooting a TC Encore with 110 grains of BH209 and a 260 grain Dead Center bullet. Right now I'm about 4.5 inches high at 100 and about 4 inches low at 200. -

TAM replied to longshooter's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Here's another tease for you guys... The deer pic's have already been posted here for several weeks. Now you just have to go find them -
Who said anything about a war? Of course it's always a last resort. Bringing an AR-15 to a protest/demonstration is a far cry from war. I'm not sure where you are going with that? Yes the Founding Fathers were reasoned men. But I would hardly say they conducted themselves accordingly. They were slave owners, adulterers, and they loved their alcohol. Regardless of how they conducted themselves they were indeed patriots. Besides the obvious, what's the difference between carrying an AR-15 and a Glock? Is one any less of a gun than the other? Again I don't understand your logic? So, it's ok to pack a Glock, but not an AR-15. That doesn't make any sense? If that's the way you feel then why don't we just let all the gun grabbers ban AR-15's? You say you're "not disputing his right to carry ANY type of weapon", but then you slam him for carrying an AR-15. Isn't an AR-15 considered a weapon? If so then why are you slamming him for carrying it? You say we must act as "rational" and "reasonable" people. Isn't that exactly what happened? No arrests. No disorderly conduct. No danger to the President or civillians, etc, etc. Nothing got out of hand whatsoever. Don't you consider that rational and reasonable??? You say "He just brought guns to the forefront..." Where have you been for the last 50 years??? Guns have been at the forefront of debate for longer than you or I have been alive. This is nothing new. It's the same ol left wing media fueling the fire of the liberal gun grabbers. As long as there are guns and stupid people this debate is never going to go away. The left needs to be hit in the face with a baseball bat.... over and over again. Being subtle in our tactics is what got us in this mess in the first place. Time to wake up out of dream land and take a stand for what you believe.

Show me exactly where we started looking like radicals? Carrying an AR-15 in peaceful demonstration is not radical at all. It is an open carry state and he acted within all of the laws. How do you know what the Founding Fathers would have done? Were you there? The Founding Fathers had the brass to stand up for what they believed and literally put their lives on the line for it. All I see you doing is telling people that they shouldn't stand up for what they believe because of what some liberal on the east coast might think. This isn't some beauty contest where the prettiest face wins. This is about standing up for what we believe regardless of what the gun grabbers think. Yanks... I think not! Carrying an AR to a peaceful demonstration is radical and crazy and VERY, VERY, VERY BAD FOR OUR IMAGE!!!! I know its an open carry state, and yes I carry quite often. Retards carrying downtown at public demonstrations should have their rights revoked. This post and story is so ridiculous, I am baffled by people who think this crap is OK. Go ahead, let me have it. I won't be reading this post anymore, anyway. These people are embarrassing the gun owning community and are the reason we will see more restrictive gun laws in the near future. Ok, I'm done. Why even post if you're to chicken to come back and discuss your position?

I think exercising our rights is like exercising our bodies. If we don't exercies our rights or our bodies we will loose our strength and any progress we have made. To those that don't believe BO has attacked our gun rights... Nearly every person he has put on his staff is anti gun. This is like saying Russia has surrounded the US coast line with ships and submarines carrying nucular weapons, but they haven't fired any shots so we will just stand by and wait for them to throw the first punch. Gun owners can't afford to sit and wait for BO to make a direct attack on our gun rights. We must let our voices be heard... NOW! The media is ALWAYS going to portray guns in a negative light. We need to stop worrying about what the media or wacked out leftist liberals are going to think. As long as our protests/demonstrations are legal and peaceful then we will come out ahead in the long run.

This man had the legal right to do what he did. This man was well behaved. No viloence occored as a result of this man exercising his rights. No arrests or citations occured as a result of this man exercising his rights. The President and general public were never in ANY danger as a result of this man exercising his rights. Some people carry a sign with a catchy bumper sticker slogan to express their opinions and some people carry a gun as a sign of their opinions. Both are legal rights. This man did nothing more than exercise his rights. GOOD FOR HIM!!! Some of you are nothing more than hyprocrates that say you want to protect our gun rights, but as soon as a law abiding citizen exercises them you slam them for it.

Here is a link to a current NBC poll that is taking place regarding the question if "In God We Trust" should be removed from our US currency due to seperation of church and state laws. It's worded kind of backwards so read it twice before you vote. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10103521/

Sorry, after a second look it is pretty straight forward. The email I got about the poll was worded so that before I even saw the question I was thinking "yes" they should leave "In God we trust" on our currency, but the question was worded "should it be taken out. I just have a confused mind thats all. I know there is nothing scientific about this poll and I highly doubt any of our leaders will put any weight in it, but perhaps there is a small chance that somewhere there is a leader that hears the voice of the people. This country needs all of Gods help it can get right now!!!

How to stop (or decrease) trail camera theft.
TAM replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Unfortunatley it's not about right and wrong anymore, it's all about calculated risks. The reason most people don't rob banks is because there is a pretty good chance you will get caught (high risk). With trail cameras there is very little to no chance you will get caught (low risk). I have a Moultrie that has a password protection on it. But even with a password I think they will continue to be stolen by others for the content of the memory cards. -
I shot a .685 group at 100 yards today using the 260 grain Dead Centers over 110 grains of BH209. Pretty sure that's what I'm going to use for my antelope hunt next month. Now I just need to do a little long range work to see how they drop out to 300.

And that is a perfect example of what the mainstream media is trying to do to the American People. They are trying to cloud good judgement with flawed reasoning. Someone needs to slap the stupid out of that lady!!!

Yep it's a small world. We just needed a bigger house. No problems with the neighborhood or schools. We really liked the area and our neighbors. We haven't lived there for about six years, so things may have changed since we left. Good luck!

Uh.... perhaps if you wore tighter fitting pants????

Gino, funny you should ask. A little over a year ago I was driving east through Star Valley right at dusk when this bright light flashes and scares the piss out of me. I know right away that I'm caught. I even called my wife and told her. I waited and waited to get my picture in the mail. Now it's been over a year and still no picture. Oh well, lucky me I guess For what it's worth I think Star Valley is one of those small towns that likes to make money off those out of towners with lead in their shoes. Be ware!
