Toyota Recall
TAM replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Did the guy get a citation for talking on his cell phone while driving? Going 94 miles an hour and talking on your cell phone is a good way to get into an accident!!! Stupid people are going to get someone killed!!! -
Just curious why on a private party sale you would require a CCW or DL?
-
Snapshot... you are a bigger Jack Butt than Gamehauler! ... Feel better now?
-
Dude... calm down, it's way to early to be pissed over the draw results! Last year they weren't even out until March 27th.

Saw a pickup truck just south of Roberts Market this morning at about 8 am. The sticker was across the top of the front windshield and it had an equipment rack with what looked like a roll of carpet loaded on top.

It'll sure give new meaning to the phrase "I got your back!"

He did a great job... it looks every bit as good as it did when it was alive! I really like how Dan's forms go way back onto the shoulder. It really makes them look nice not like there is just an animal neck sticking out of the wall. Congrats again on a great buck! I've got Dan working on restoring and mounting a 120 inch set of coues sheds I found a few years ago. So far they look awesome!

You also may want to purchase one of the OAL guage tools from Hornady. That way you can at least measure and find out what you've got to work with. In the end though unless you want to use your rifle as a singel shot loading longer than the magazine will be pointless. Good luck!

I've owned a bunch of different kinds including the home made kind and the Coverts are by far and away the best bang for your buck! Small and easy to conceal, simpe to operate, quality pictures, not to mention you can support the site by purchasing them through Amanda. Pretty much a no brainer! Good luck!

My three year old daughter loved the Dock Dogs! We sat there for about an hour while we ate our lunch and watched the dogs jump. It was a lot of fun! At one point there was a black dog jumping and Kamryn got excited because she thought it was Hap!

There are a few guys here including myself that have them. I love mine and have enjoyed great success with it. I think the optical quality is high and the repeatability of the clicks is dead on. I don't think there is a shooting system out there that is as simple to use under field conditions once you've got it all set up. Range it... Click it... Kill it!!! Good luck!

Cool pictures, but where is the fourth lion?
-
I just got a lion skull back from Western Skulls in Glendale that looks great! Give them a call or check them out online. www.westernskulls.com - or - (877)2-SKULLS Good luck!

Do you know if the 115 BT's will even shoot in your rifle? Don't buy the cart before the horse! Go do all your field work before you buy your scope. In fact, while you're at it, try several differnt bullet/load combinations and go with the one that shoots the most accurate, then go buy your new scope based on the results. Good luck!

I am never a fan of anyone just showing up at my house unannounced... even family and friends it's just rude! With that said I think my tone would depend upon the tone of the officers invloved. If they want to play nice then I can go along with that. However any intimidation techniques or power games on their part would probably end with me reminding them they are trespassing on private property and asking them to leave. I really think they should call first. It's just better for the Departments image. -
Gino is right... I am very happy with my rifle. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. I had a guy named Todd Bettin build it and I'm pretty sure he could build you one for about the half the cost of a Gunwerks rifle. Todd guarantees sub 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards and won't even send it out the door if it won't shoot better. My rifle's best groups have been in the .2's. Even my 9 year old son can hit a 10 inch steel plate at 600 yards with it. It sure takes hunting to another level when you have that kind of confidence in your shooting system. Here's a link to Todd Bettin's website: http://www.bettincustomguns.com/ Good luck!

I think RR did a pretty good job answering the first part of your question, but as for there being any disadvantage on using 20x for a 350 yard shot... I say no way! I shot my coues deer this year at 198 yards with my Huskamaw on 20X and had no trouble finding him in the scope or holding on him once I found him... perfect shot! I also shot my coues deer last year at 201 yards on 20X with no problems at all. As long as you have a good rest I really don't see there ever being any problems.

Congrats on your success in Mexico this year. Looks like you did real well.
-
Congrats on another awesome Mexico buck! I love the character!

I have killed 9 big game animals with Bergers and they are the real deal! If you hit your target in the shoulder it will probably be taking a dirt nap before you can even get back into the scope. They pretty much turn the inside of an animals chest into chunky soup! Not to metnion they are the most accurate bullet I've ever shot.

My wife pointed out this truck in the parking lot at Fudruckers in Prescott Valley as we were going in for dinner tonight. Who's is it?

I own a Leica LRF 1200 and love it. But for what it's worth the guys over at The Best Of The West are working on a new range finder that is supposed to blow everything else away! It's probably going to be a little pricey, but it's rumored to do some real cool stuff. If you don't need it until next season it may be worth waiting for???

+1 on the Huskemaw! If you decide to go with a system where you dial in your clicks for your desired yardages then nothing else comes close IMO. It's the fastest most simple system to use in a hunting situation. Good luck!
