Me and my dad r gunna go scoutin soon we were wondering if anyone has hunted the flats in B.A.W.R We have a spot where there is some smaller deer but we are lookin for some biggger deer . I have heard the flats have bigger deer. If u have any other spots that we could scout for backup areas would be apreciated. I can help with 20a mule deer or javelina and 27 turkey

i beleave the dates u posted were last weeked. i also will be goin there soon. 10 lb test should be good up there. As for the bait i would use powerbait or flies. My dads friend went up there last weekend and caught a lot of fish using green and white powerbait.

If u want to do a combo for javelina and coues I would go to 36b there is a high density of both . Ull need some good glass.10x42 and above prefferably with a tripod. in 36b u wont need to back pack. get a map to find waterholes, canyons, and other stuff.There are more people on this site who can give u a lot better info than i can, just tryin to help. What is your favorite rifle and what have you killed with it?

I wouldnt think so cuz there is a lot of people there last year, maybe though cuz a lot of people were just driving around.
