Pretty rifle. Still saving my pennies. Maybe some day. Good luck on the sale. -
+1!

Awesome! Thanks! It would be a perfect photo for the label of the newest addition to the CWT.com store, "Amanda's Prickly Pear Preserves."

This brings a whole new meaning to being "Thumped in the Melon"!
Jimmer Negamanee replied to Sir Buckwheat's topic in The Campfire
It's hard to say precisely which safety rule she broke. Maybe all of them. 1. Treat every medieval watermelon launching weapon as if it were loaded. 2. Always point your medieval watermelon launching weapon in a safe direction. 3. Be sure of your target and beyond 4. When firing a medieval watermelon launching weapon there are basically two directions the projectile can go and one of them isn't good. (I'm glad she's okay. And I bet she's happy the risk manager for that reality show nixed the use of large rocks and opted for melons instead.) -
Go get 'em Ernesto. Looking forward to the pics.

Great game! They try to play the toughest teams they can right out of the chute but they have a hard time finding opponents because most schools want a warm-up game or two. They had to travel far for this one but they showed lots of heart. BOISE!!! STATE!!!

For the PAC-10, ASU!!! ASU!!! For the WAC, If they beat VA Tech and OSU, this'll get very interesting.

This one's up in Idaho. She's very athletic and can keep her feet in the mountains but not sure about how she is with inexperienced riders. http://boise.craigslist.org/grd/1926462511.html Her owner and I have known each other since we were kids. So if you're interested in the best deal, let me know.

What's the bag limit on scorpions?

Way to put the hammer down on those arachnids! I'm sorry your wife got stung but she sounds pretty tough. Thanks for posting. It's a reminder to all of us desert dwellers to be careful. -

I have 520.761.2400. Like liv4coues, it's a couple years old. Might want to call ahead and get the right # for where you'll be. I think there are several "sectors". Last time I was down there though they had so many calls they couldn't keep up. Good luck on your hunt!

Oh, I'm sure it would have been "cool" if the sundevils did it to UofA, huh? Not only would have it been cool, it would have been clever too! (Seriously, I wish we'd thought of it.) But even a die-hard Sun Devil like me has to give UA its props. Their entire defensive line made straight As last year. (Their Bs were a little crooked but their As were really straight.)
-
That was not cool of UA to do. Funny. But not cool. Hopefully, December 2nd will be the date of Sparky's revenge.

I always thought of cats as sight hunters but with the 15 minute delay and the fact that the cat is exactly on the elk's trail makes me wonder if they use their sense of smell more than I think. Any thoughts?

Some Awesome Trail cam video of elk

Great video Amanda! (And thanks to Christian and Jamey for supplying the footage.) It does get the heart pumping! -
I don't have any 6A advice for you but if your dad's goal is a big bull I'd seriously consider having him hire a guide. We've got a few CWT.com sponsors who know 6A inside and out. Maybe your dad just wants to spend the time hunting w/ friends and family. If so, that's totally cool. I don't think killing a big bull, or any bull for that matter, is required for a great hunt. My dad's in the same situation (12 years w/o a tag and is spittin' distance to 70) in a different unit. I gave him the same advice. I'll be going along to help any way I can but the math is inescapable. If you burn this tag and the wait is another 12 years he'll be 83 and it'll be exponentially harder on him. My dad has the feeling that this is his last shot at a big bull and that he'll stictly be a meat hunter from here on out. Good Luck! Let us know how it goes.

Thank you for this post. You might have saved me from the same thing. I was just thinking about picking one up then ran to my dresser drawer to find my archery deer tag from "last year" (2010) too! Into my wallet it went. Thanks again.
