Awesome! You must have been stoked when you saw that pic! Thanks for posting.

Sweet! Fanning already. Was up this weekend but didn't hear any gobbling. But I also had a dog, with a bell and an orange vest. Thanks for posting.

Great find and great pics! Thanks for posting.

Great find! It must be fun shed hunt on horseback.

+ 1! Congrats to your dad and great job mounting the antlers for him!

My guess is that they're a matching pair. But that's only based on a vague sense that they seem to share a lot of characteristics (and the fact that there is never perfect symmetry). Could be two different bulls. Could be same bull but different years. I like your idea of going back to that spot and looking. Your time will not be wasted. Let us know what you find.

Blake, thanks for the info. The boy (he's 20) and I are signed up for the same wave as you. It was the earliest they had left. It looks like a 5K + an obstacle course + a Renaissance Festival all rolled into one. I've never paid money to slog through a "river" of what I can only imagine is agricultural run off, but hey, I'll try anything once.

Thanks for the info! The boy and I might sign up for the Saturday one. Running can be boring. This looks like way more fun. And it includes a fuzzy Viking helmet. Can't go wrong with that.

Was the license plate GAMEHAULER?

Well, it was a 49% increase. But I agree, perhaps a sternly worded letter to the corporate office would have been more appropriate. Glad no one was hurt.

I've never actually sold one. Prolly cuz I remember where I was when I found each one. Especially the ones I found with my boy. Can't imagine ever selling those. But if you find a bunch it makes sense to sell 'em to get some dinero and keep the house or yard from fillin' up with 'em. It makes me wonder though. If the price is per pound, why do they care if they're broke up or not? You could have shed "A" that's BIG but chewed up and weighs more than shed "B" which is a smaller shed but perfect, not a mouse nibble on it, chocolaty brown, ivory tips the whole bit. To me, each shed is like a snowflake. So unique that a thousand heavens and a thousand earths could pass without ever making another like it. So I guess I understand paying per pound if they're gonna be ground up to be sold for some inefficacious folk remedy (in which case the condition wouldn’t matter). But if they’re bought for like a chandelier, or a matching set, or piece of art, or some such thing, I would think that the cost per pound would be irrelevant cuz it’s the condition that matters.

Sweet! Thanks for posting. It gets the heart pumping. Next weekend for me. My goal this year is to glass up a shed. Never did that before. Thanks for showing us how it's done!

+ 1! Cool to see whitetail and mule deer. Plus, looks like you get good range on your cam.

Great finds! And the elk set are first brownies of the year that I've seen. They look to be in in great shape too with great color. You're living up to your handle, that's for sure! Thanks for posting.
