Grrrr! Got me too. I know it's too early but I couldn't help but click to see. AZLance and Mathews are right though. Hot brownies with ice cream (may I suggest a Breyer's Natural Vanilla with real vanilla bean?) is the best. Now I'm hungry too. Thanks a lot.

gas or electric dryer It's an electric dryer but the set is sold pending funds. I'll repost if things fall through. Thanks for looking.

Federal Judge dismisses lawsuit against Rosemont Copper
Jimmer Negamanee replied to AZLance's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Well said. You’re a class act. People can disagree without being disagreeable. Passion is good but civility is important too. Especially nowadays. -
So they created a .270? (That was for you, Lark.) But seriously, cool information. Thanks for posting.

YOWZA! Great finds! Thanks for posting.

Great find! You should be proud of it! Regarding the distance apart you could expect to find the other side, in my limited experience, I have a very accurate but completely unhelpful answer . "It depends." If you're talking about elk sheds I'd say the bigger the shed, the closer they'll be together. I've found them literally on top of each other before. My rule is the bigger the shed, the harder Ill look for the match. At one point, I had never found a 5 pt. or larger antler without finding the other side. (I always imagine a big elk being very lopsided once one side drops then shaking his heads until the other side drops too. But I have no idea if that really happens.) Unfortunately, that theory didnt last too long as Ive since found 2 nice 6 pt elk sheds without finding the match. I've found ONE matching set of coues sheds and they were 3 ft. apart. But it seems that deer dont drop them as close as elk do. Hopefully someone else on here will chime in with their experience. Anywho, great job! Sheds found are a measure of time spent in the field and time spent in the field is always a good thing. Thanks for posting.

Congrats! (If I wasn't already at my 2-dog maximum I'd be getting a deposit to you. Zip has no quit in him and if Athena is half the dog he is you'll be getting some great pups!) Looking forward to the puppy pictures.

If you read his post (or any of them, really), you know him. But I keep this quote handy: "I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it." - George Bernard Shaw I can't verify that GBS said it but my grandma gave me a version that was pretty close. Either way, consider the source. Nice bull. Thanks for posting.

John Edwards has a heart?
Jimmer Negamanee posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
It's not that he has heart condition that surprised me. It's that he has a heart. http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/2012/01/13/20120113judge-hearing-bid-today-delay-john-edwards-trial.html This guy is a total d0@$#bag. And I can say that because I'm the token...oh, nevermind. -

It is official. I have joined the dark side.
Jimmer Negamanee replied to 308Nut's topic in Long Range Shooting
Amen! One of my favorite quotes by Ralph Waldo Emerson is “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines.” Of course, I still shoot a .308 (or .30-06) because of the array of factory loads available. I couldn’t hand load a sling shot. Looking forward to your future posts with your results. -
A big +1! Great video! Looks like he does it for a living. Congratulations on another successful TLO hunt.

First off, I find the pictures of the canines in flagrante delicto to be gratuitous at best, uncalled for and offensive at worst. Regarding hybridization, bears do it: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40707032/ns/us_news-environment/t/hybrid-polar-grizzly-bear-sign-arctics-future/ Bees do it. Even sharks in the seas do it: http://futureoftech.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/01/03/9921974-australias-hybrid-shark-reveals-evolution-in-action?chromedomain=cosmiclog Canines do it to: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32976657/ns/technology_and_science-science/t/coyote-wolf-new-breed-predator/ I’d bet that it’s hard to find a gray wolf in North America without a coyote gene in there somewhere and I guarantee you the dog in my avatar has a some wolf genetic marker somewhere in her cells. That’s where dogs come from, after all. My rhetorical question would be if some 100% pure (proved to your satisfaction) Mexican Gray Wolf population was “discovered” and could be used as a foundation for reintroduction would you then support the program? My guess would be that the answer would be “no.” And if the answer is "no", the whole hybrid conversation is simply a red herring.

Calling Yotes w/ mobile apps?
Jimmer Negamanee replied to dtresca's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Never tried it. But I do know a guy who called a bull elk in with his Android elk call app. Even it it doesn't work you can probably use them for unique ringtones. "Honey, your phone's ringing." "Yeah, don't worry, it's just my brother, I gave him the Lightening Jack ring tone so I'll know it's him." "Are you sure it's not your dad?" "Yeah, he's fawn in distress." -
