You captured my thoughts exactly. Although I'm a faithful Sun Devil and will continue to be, it's always nice to have another team that saves the weekend. Go Red Birds! Go Devils!

I've never seen that before. The bite/sting/injury hypothesis could be possible. That could cause tissue damage. It could also include a secondary infection after the bite/sting/injury which could cause inflammation. Here's a link to 'Bullwinkle syndrome' which is bacterial according to the article. But your buck's swelling is much less severe. https://www.qdma.com/articles/the-mysterious-bullwinkle-deer If you've watched it for a couple months and it seemed to stay the same, I'd discount the Bullwinkle thing and stick with the bite/sting/injury hypothesis. We're just spit ballin' around the campfire here. If you find a more definitive explanation, let us know. Thanks for posting.

It was a great game! Thanks for offering the extra ticket to a CWT.com member.

Pure skulduggery and chicanery, if you ask me.

Video of Natives Hunting With Spears
Jimmer Negamanee replied to trphyhntr's topic in Hunting in Africa
With that many people running around and that many spears flying in a dynamic situation, I'm surprised more people aren't speared. I found this link to a TV hunter who almost killed himself in a spear hunting accident when his spear fell out of the tree and went through his leg. Not fun. http://www.outdoorhub.com/news/2015/09/09/tim-wells-relentless-pursuit-impaled-spear-hunt-gone-wrong/ -
Cool product. Maybe you could talk to Amanda about being a CWT.com sponsor and licensing the coues buck logo for CWT.com for boards. That'd be sweet.

Adorable! I needed the smile this morning. Thanks for posting!

Amazing day! Sure will help the kiddos say "Yes!" next time you ask if they want to go. Thanks for posting.

Great finds! So cool to live where you can find them so close to home. Thanks for posting.

Our favorite place is C-Fu Gourmet and the SW corner of Dobson and Warner in Chandler (but just south of Mesa and just East of Tempe).

You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day
Jimmer Negamanee replied to naturegirl's topic in Forum Help
Thanks Naturegirl for bringing this up and thanks Amanda for coming up with a solution. We can now unleash a torrent of positivity (at least 100 "likes" worth in a 24 hr. period) and there's no such thing as too much positivity! (Heck, I'd even like my own post but my son told me that's poor form on the Internet so I shall refrain. ) -
Wow! That's an amazing find and you did a great job with that! Please consider posting that under the shed hunting section under the pinned topic "freaks of the woods". Your find would definitely qualify. Can't believe I didn't see this until just now. Thanks for posting.

In between hunting seasons = photo time
Jimmer Negamanee replied to naturegirl's topic in The Campfire
Great pictures! You certainly have an eye for photography. I bought three of Darren's (Pixman) calendars (2 as gifts) and I'd certainly buy one of yours. Keep collecting the pictures you'll have a calendar's worth before you know it. Thanks for posting. -
This just in...

Tomorrow (2/9/15) morning or evening?

It might be where the fabric rubs against the frame. When my Eberlestock X2 was squeaking, Azmetalman told me to wrap some of that white, clothy medical tape (like the kind of tape use to tape one finger to another when you sprain one pretty good) around the frame where the fabric met the frame. That worked for me. Maybe Outdoorsmans has a fix for that. Squeaky packs sure are annoying.

Favorite 2014 ATL's or Just Favorite Sheds
Jimmer Negamanee replied to NM_Shedder's topic in Shed Hunting
Great thread and great posts by everybody. Today (12/21) is the winter solstice meaning tomorrow the days will slowly start to lengthen. Tick tock on the 2015 shed season. @ CaptainObvious, is that a pronghorn sheath? Super cool find. @Azshedgirl, you had a wonderful year! Welcome to CWT.com and thanks for posting your pictures. -
Skunked On My Hunt But Still Got Horn
Jimmer Negamanee replied to Deserttrecker's topic in Shed Hunting
That's cool! Super wide and in great shape. Congratulations. Thanks for posting. -
Saw a dark, newer (2nd generation) Xterra off of Adams Street in downtown Phoenix with a CWT.com sticker across the windshield. The X has Shrockworks sliders, rear bumper with tire carrier and front bumper. I have a 1st gen Xterra and would love to chat about the modifications you've done to yours (especially your roof rack since I have Shrockworks sliders and rear bumper on mine and a front bumper on order). If you PM me I'll give you my contact info. If you want to make sure I'm referring to your vehicle, I can confirm what type of tire cover you have on your rig. Thanks. -Jimmer

TJ, I like to stop in and look around every so often. I've had my bow restrung there and bought new arrows and a rest. I'm not very knowledgeable about archery equipment and certainly not up to date but they've always been helpful, patient and have never talked down to me (even though my bow is 15+ years old). Glad you had a good experience too.

Bump for a cool set up. It'd be mine if I was ready to go to the HD glass at this time. -
