114 users currently reading that credit cards have not been hit yet. I love the Arizona draw system. How many times as an adult are you genuinely surprised? A kids Christmas morning all over again. Awesome.

That is just totally disheartening to read. I am actually a little sick after that. -
Ah man - I hope this isn't another stunt. I'm gonna go crazy pretty quick. Cards for friends and family still haven't been hit.

2012 Arizona Elk & Pronghorn Credit Card Hits! Confirmed!

That, plus the fact he got permit #21 for Antelope and there are only 5 tags for that hunt number this year. Nice try! Nice catch - I didn't bother to check that. I love this time of year... waiting to see who is bluffing and who posts up the real deal first. -

That's gonna put a dent in the hunting budget For me, it has been worth it - 22 years and counting! -
The real March Madness is almost here! I just hope that I do a whole lot better with the draw than I did with my bracket.

I have learned something today. Graupel. Who knew? By the way - no snow in Scottsdale.
-
I haven't heard of a single confirmed hit yet - maybe all my friends and family are just unlucky this year.
-
No hit for me or anyone I know. That previous topic I saw earlier may have been the evil work of someones twisted mind

Nothing yet for my hunting friends or myself and kids - Has anyone been able to confirm that cards are being hit?

Hunters!!! Boycott Camping World
AZMThunter replied to BigWave's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Here is the email they sent back to me: _______________________________________ Mr. Killeen, To clarify our position, Camping World as America’s Largest Outdoor company, believes in personal freedom. In this country, people are free to choose. This issue at hand is not about whether people should be able to hunt or not. Our company is neither for nor against hunting. We are for personal choice and having people enjoy the outdoors in whatever fashion they choose. However, in our opinion, if and when the hunting of endangered species occurs, whether in the United States or abroad, it is not acceptable to even the most avid of hunters. We remain strong in our conviction of preserving the outdoors, protecting our great country's lands and the freedom to choose. Thank you, Camping World Customer Care -

Just shot them an email informing them of the business they just lost - It will be interesting to see if I get a response. -
I own a small company, and I am amazed at how difficult it is to buy american made products from an american owned business. Buying a product made somewhere else by an american company does add money to the economy, though at the cost of jobs. Buying something made in america by a foreign owned company helps keep americans employed, but the money goes to another countries economy. No easy solutions, and any little bit helps - but to truly "Buy American," you will need to dig pretty deep to get real answers. FYI, I tried to find an american made flat-panel TV recently when shopping for a new 46"... Let me know if anyone sees something like that.

Hope this link helps. If not, send me a PM, and I'll get you the specific info for you. http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31148 Thanks, Bruce Got it down now - I must say I am ashamed for not being more familiar with this stuff. Thanks. -
I hope you don't think that AZ hunters would be offended by what NM is doing. I love the opportunities I have had to hunt out of state, and look forward to many more trips - but I would never want my out of state adventure to take a tag opportunity from a family or kid that wants to hunt with their grandpa in whichever state they are in. If the herd size and hunter pool are such that you need to limit the non-res hunters, by all means, limit away.

Where do I find out who my state legislators are? I pulled up the AZLEG site, and it gives me both district 3 and district 7. -

2009 I was drawn for the early rifle bull tag in 22n. Scouting one day and glassing down into the unit from myrtle point (on the rim) around 9:00am, I have a bachelor heard of bulls in my 15's. One big 5X5, another 5X1 (and that 1 was around 42" long), a few small spikes and forks, and a very small 6X6. The bulls are just feeding and I'm waiting to see if I can guess where they are going to bed down. The small 6X6 is just hangin with the others and, wham, drops dead where it was standing. I thought maybe I had just witnessed someone with a bow poach it - called game thief and tried to give directions to the warden up there but he could not find it as it was a good ways off the Highline trail and I was guessing its exact location from on top of the rim. Hike in the following weekend so I can give the warden exact GPS coordinates. Just a warning - bears will hang out on a stinky elk carcass and wallow around in that filth for quite a while. I learned this at about 10 feet when, to my surprise, a large shiny black stump decided to charge me from the thick brush. Exciting stuff out there in those woods.

Sent my email off and am letting my friends all know to do the same. Getting ready to call as well. -
I got booted a couple of times while halfway or so into the app... Slowed me down a little but was cause for concern. Putting in for my older boys apps, my 12 year olds apps, and my apps I probably got kicked out 3 times. Didn't put in for any of my buddies this year - I used to be the one filling out apps for all of us when we put in together, especially when they were out of town on out-of-state projects, but I won't do it anymore. Left out one digit of the birthday for one of the guys I hunt with in 2009 and I though we were going to go to blows over it. I still catch crap every year that he doesn't have his loyalty point. There are pluses and minuses to be sure, but overall I am glad we are back to the online application.

I was helping some guys in 7W on a deer hunt this year and the elk numbers seem down substantially from previous years. Big bulls were especially scarce. Deer numbers seem pretty consistent.
