How does it shoot? Round count? Condition? Jeff

This is the first time I have drawn the 2nd hunt in unit 31 and it was tough! Nothing like hunting a warm high pressure system coupled with a full moon! I hunted pretty darn hard for four days before I even saw a buck. Tuesday morning I put myself in a great place I am familiar with and disturbed 3 bucks. I had to make a snap decision and quick look to find the biggest of the 3. At 180 yards my first shot was back as he moved up the hill, my second shot missed, third shot hit forward and he lunged forward and disappeared. I let my wife know I shot a few times and should be on a recovery mission. I found him and had to put one more in him. I took two trips to get him out but I was smiling (and sweating) the whole time Thanks to all the Veterans and their sacrifice! I scored him at 92" Jeff

LOL muledeerarea33? If it is the Scott I know and that you are probably referring too, they dont have tags but some friends do! LOL. DCM. The further you get from roads and where 4-wheelers can go the better! So to answer your question, hop on the horse and giddy-up! Coues can be found high or low in 27. Just pick an area and go. Generally more whitetail are below the rim than above the rim. I would hit your Blue river spot first. They will be there throughout the year. Your 200 yard zero is fine, just know what your rifle/bullet is going to do after that! Water wont be an issue Good luck! Jeff

I have hunted (scouted, shed hunted, etc.) alone for 20+ years (most of the time). My wife isnt much of a fan but I like the solitude. Plus, I dont have any friends. LOL Jeff
