I disagree. Both the 7-08 and .260 Rem are good rounds...I prefer the .260.

I have a Remington Model 7 youth in .260 remington that I'd sell with the scope (Cabelas 2-7x32) for $475. You can buy factory 120 or 140 grain bullets. The .260 is a .308 necked down to .264 (6.5 mm). Same brass as the .308, 7-08, and .243. Nice handy rifle and my kids have shot it well, recoil is not much different than the .243.
