Most dirt tanks are dry......worst monsoon on record. With some spring rains and a decent winter, the elk seem to have topped out well.

Got my archery antelope tag as well!

My first big game weapon was a Herters longbow in lemonwood. Sweet shooting bow! However, I was given a Remington model 700BDL in 30-06 caliber when I was 15......never hunted with a firearm, so it still sits in my closet.
