Ok so I recently pulled and fired my handgun that I go hiking with on a coyote. I carry a 357 mag revolver and let me tell you it hurt my ears bad to fire it. I had never fired it without hearing protection until then. I was wondering what is a good gun to carry while hiking that you could use without hearing protection usually in emergency situations or rare encounter with something you can shoot that close. I know all pistols are loud, but what would cause the least amount of hearing damage if you had to use it without hearing protection? Thanks Connor

I am very busy lately with my new job, so I don't have any time to post the story right now and for that I apologize. I still have some hunts I am trying to squeeze in before the end of January and that means working even more. All DIY hunts, the antelope scores 77 and is 3 inches off my best and the whitetail is my best yet with 16 points and should score in the 140's. Won't be back on here for a while, so enjoy the pics while I work.
