Condor- i have shot both handgun and rifle competition. i have shot over 250 coytes, some of those with a .357. i repeat my question. Hey ronin sorry I wasn't watching this forum so I just now saw your post. My 357 is surprisingly accurate at 30 yards I can shoot the neck off a beer bottle and then break the bottle with next shot. I hear this is rare to have a gun that shoots that accurately with only a 4inch barrel. I have never tried to group it on paper but I imagine I could group at 2-3 inches maybe. It is a ruger gp100.

Hey everyone, I just got drawn for the unit 23 non-burro whitetail tag in New Mexico. I am going to start scouting and was wondering if anyone could point me in a good direction to start finding deer. If anyone can tell me an area I could backpack into I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Connor

I use the dental rubber bands around the middle. Ya the ortho bands work well, you can also get crazy and use a dremmel to make little notches for them to fit into.

Forest circus thats really clever! Excellent play on words because its sounds like service, but it means that they do crazy stuff like in a circus. -

I don't think you would like to glass with just a spotting scope it gets uncomfortable after a while. I like glassing with my 15's and then when I see someting or need to confirm its its size or what it is I pull out the spotter. Some good combos for the money are the vortex viper 15x50's and either a viper spotting scope or the nomad scope. I used this combo for a while and it works great. The spotter isn't great out to 60 power, but I mainly use it in the 25-40 power range anyway and it looks great. I also have a razor HD spotter and when backpacking I alway carry the Nomad because it is so much lighter and an awesome backpacking scope. My buddy uses a completely different set up, me being a vortex fanboy, he is the same about Nikon. He uses the 12x56 power monarchs and a their 13-30 hd fieldscope. I cant say anything bad about this combo they are both crystal clear and he glasses up just as many deer as I do. In the end it comes to preference. I would not overlook Minox, Vortex, or Nikon as there is nothing that can be their quality to price ratio, NOTHING! http://www.cameralandny.com/optics/vortex.pl?page=vortexviper15x50 http://www.cameralandny.com/optics/vortex.pl?page=vortexnomad http://www.cameralandny.com/optics/vortex.pl?page=vortexviper15-45x65 http://www.cameralandny.com/optics/nikon.pl?page=nikon7519 http://www.cameralandny.com/optics/nikon.pl?page=nikon8320 Here are the links to these optics with the best prices I can find. This is where I got mine.

Thats is a really cool round my buddy austin shoots one and has reloaded a bunch for them. His is a tack driver with very little recoil. He has mentioned feeding issues though. PM me and I will give you austins number if you want his opinion on the 243 WSSM

Saw one in Payson on a hummer H2, two on the 87 going into payson, a silver ford and a black truck that swerved out of the way of a timber rattler crossing the road. 2 more in Flagstaff on my way home from work, white for I think it was near I40 and Flagstaff mall and a green SUV parked on north campus. We are growing in number...

Not sure what forum this should go in because there is not a Conditioning for Hunts section, but has anyone tried this stuff. Like the lean stuff or the protein? It is pretty pricey for what you get and would it be the same to just go to GNC and get something similar? Is it just the same supplements marketed towards hunters? Thanks, Connor P.S. not trying to call out and outdoorsmans affiliated company because I use a lot of outdoorsmans stuff, but how is this product better or different than the others?
