Jay you can't find better host than Fred and Mary. Met you last year on my sheep hunt in 15D at Freds. I guided Fred on his elk hunt this year. Seeing your pictures brings back memories of 15D. Will be in 15CN helping a friend this year. Will be at Freds some hope to see you there or if you have filled the tag to get the scoop on your hunt. Good luck to your hunter. Winston -
Great Bull. Most taxidermist I know will trade you the Euro mount for the cape especially the bull of that size. If they don't trade straight across they will give a discount

Wonder lf it is true. My Cabelas card numbers somehow got stolen and a bunch of charges started appearing on my card. The charges started appearing on the 4th of April. This is the same card that I used for applying for my permits. Consequently they had to close my account. Just wondering because someone was able to get the numbers.

I go back when Ashurst was a beatiful blue lake that had rainbow , brownies, brookies and kokonee salmon. The lake was full of fresh water shrimp with no crawdads, catfish or pike. It was this way until the game and fish decided to kill the lake off. wasn't the same since. One day on the lake with a friend of mine, trolling with flies, we caught and released over 200 trout that day. It was quite common to catch al least 50 a day. ooh for the good old days on Ashurst.

I tried the FOBs and thought they were to noisy, much noisier than the blazers. also had a problem of the FOB hitting the string at full draw. Had to put a spacer between nock and FOB to keep it from hitting

You might try the walnut trees at Rattlesnake burn in unit 6b
-
You might also try using a heavy scarf or bandana and laying it over your head and spotting scope. This cuts down on alot of glare.

I never had him scored, but I did have a shed buyer offer me some good money for the sheds. I did see him alive one time when he was running with three other bucks. Had him in the open at about 150 yrds.I was trying to get my oldest son a good shot at one of the other 4 points along with me shooting this buck when they slipped in the cedars with out a shot being fired. O'well thats hunting.

How did it perform on the bull? What type of shot was it (broadside ....)? I too was looking at the three blade for my bull hunt. azbowhunter22 My son said the bull went appx. 70 yards and colapsed after a broadside shot. Firscousewas80 the hanging weight on this bull was 534 lbs by no means a small elk and the rage did its job.
