Weller's did an awsome job!

If it is not too hot out and the heat waves are not bad, the Cabelas 20x80s are decent. they weigh about 5 pounds. on a nice day you can see pretty good through them, like any glass you, get what you pay for!!! If you keep an eye out on Ebay or in the Cabelas bargain barn you could probably find a pair for that price. I think they are about 500 new. Good luck...

In my mind E-Scouting is still scouting!!!!! I spend at least 100 days a year in the field but any more help is worth it. i dont hunt 33 much but I live in that unit if you want some help PM me and I will point you in a decent direction. We are all hunters/sportsmen/sportswomen and i think we should help people out that might not know where to start. Dont be a know it all, and start talking crap to people that just want some help. on another note I DO feel that hints should be posted through a PM so it is not compete public information. This is just my 2 cents....I could help and wont give out my buddies spots but I can show/tell you where to look for a good start!

380???? No question about it pull the trigger, unless like what was said before, the 400 is standing behind. I dont think many people know how big a 400 inch bull is. All you have to do is add 3/4 of an inch to every measurment and a bull goes from 380 to 400. Look at the bull and if it is what she wants pull the trigger. The score is only a number, If its a nice bull and memorable hunt, thats all that matters! Good luck, cant wait to see what ever bull you pick to be on the ground.

I think the Minox are the best bang for the buck, if they fit your eyes. They are a bit bulky. Stay away from the Zeiss conquest...they are great for a neck glass but on a tripod they dont gather enought light for long distant glassing and early morning and late evening. The Kiababs are a great glass with a great warrenty. If you want to pay the extra for the Kiababs I would go with them. Search the internet for a pair of Optolyth 15x63, they are about as much as the Kiababs. We have the Optolyth and Swaros and side by side there is not that much of a difference If you search around on this sight there are a few posts about this with some good info.....you can PM me if you want and I can give you more info.

From what I have heard from others is that there is no program for hunting on that Res and that the only way to hunt on it is to be escorted by a member. Not sure if this is all true but just what I heard. I also know that there have been Desert Sheep that have been shot down by Ajo by tribal members and they did not need a tag and they were both 170+.... With sheep alone they could make a quite bit of money.... There are a bunch of huge Muleys on the Res as well....It would be fun!

Vortex Diamondback Vs. Leupold Acadia Bino
THOR replied to AzHuntingAddict's topic in Optics and tripods
Vortex is better in that price range.....the Leupold glass at that range is not as good. If you can go up to around $300 i would check out the Nikon Monarchs. just my $.02. I hope it helps.....Good luck!
