Field and Supreme are different. You sure about that $499 for supreme? And if so is that before shipping and ffl or tax? I don't think I have ever seen a Supreme under $550 then gotta add ffl and shipping. Fields do sell for $449-$499 or under but think Supreme at Bass Pro is $650 on sale

I prefer mod and full for fixed chokes. I actually thought this 1 was mod and full but since I wasn't wearing my glasses when I bought it :] I personally like fixed as it simplifies which chokes to put in for the day. I have got rid of all but 1 12ga o/u with removeable chokes!

CZ sold and your about out of time if this Fausti is gonna be a Christmas gift. I've never hunted mearns quail (can't hike like that) but from what I have seen this would be perfect! Tight holding little turds wouldn't stand a chance. bump for procrastinators. The 28ga is built on 20ga frame, not too small for adult and not a shoulder thumper for a kid so not heavy and not super lightweight. It does NOT have auto safety so if buying for a kid and intention is to use in field know that the tang safety must be manually engaged.
