So a recent possibly current Cabelas sale had a 3-12x40 Bushnell AR optics 1" for $99.99 with a free $50 cantilever mount. My order arrives with no mount. I call Cabelas and they tell me sorry we forgot to ship it but we can't ship a free item so your out of luck. L.O.L. what the heck did they just tell me? So they now will not honor the sale even though it it was or is still a valid sale and I ordered during valid sale... Can someone, please explain their customer service tactics CUZ IM LOST! They said I can buy 1. 😂 Clearly I will just return the item and get my $ back but dang how many times do we have to return items before they start caring about business? Feel free ro post a picture of that ad cuz I tossed it after i ordered. I believe it was free Herters cantilever mounts normally $49.99

Thanks! It is pretty aweaome gun. I had 1 full size from Grandpa 28" i believe and no choke system that i never used so i sold on here to Tanclan4. The wood on these is really nice and again the action is more like the older wingmasters. -
This sale they're having or just had they also have a okay so the scope is 99 bucks normally I think 180 they have the free Herter's Mount which is 50 bucks and there's a $30 rebate on the scope. But I'll tell you what that scope in that mount are heavy heavy heavy heavy I wish I would have looked up the specs LOL

Yep i spoke to a different dude and mounts arrived rhis morning. I think it helped not talking to the guy who was hugging the tree with a joint in his mouth. 👍

Everybody that wishes it were what it used to be go let them know how you feel. They dont like me saying its just for rich dudes looking for guides. Seriously last year when we walked out of that place my wife looked at me and said we are never going back there again. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10155669138033920&id=35892228919

I haven't been for a few years, but thought it was nice when the kids were young and its free. Im in the north valley also,so that makes a difference. The Game and Fish Expo is always awesome for the family. Lots of stuff for kids. The ISE on the other hand last year besides the fishing for dead Sunfish the only thing for a kid to do at the ISE was get their face painted and I think it was 20 bucks LOL that lady made a killing that day cuz there was a line an hour long at all times because there was nothing for the kids to do

I think it's at Westworld this year. Last year was over at Westgate the stadium. In the old days that used to be at the Civic Center I was back when I was still a cool show. I must have missed the fairgrounds years

I quit after last year also! WHAT A JOKE. Back when it was at Civic Center it was a really cool deal but ever since then it's been going downhill. If you're a rich man going in looking for a guy gear set

QUOTING REDMAN Respectfully, you are "disabled" not terminally ill and you can stand and bear weight on your legs. . ME Ok now you lost me! Im confused, is this law only for people who cannot stand? I'm thinking your loss of your friend might be puting you into fight mode rather than healthy debate mode. Your kinda throwing some stuff out there that we cannot quite follow. So here's my side thoughts on little different issue. it's awesome that we can donate tags to sick kids and disabled vets and Wounded Warriors. It's great that we can donate tags or give our tags sign them over to our children under a certain age. It's a bummer that we can't donate a tag to an adult who has a terminal illness Such as your friend before he passed if I had an elk tag and I knew him it would be nice if it was legal for me to sign my tag over to that individual. I think that's one thing that we're lacking on and all these donated tags were doing I think that we should be able to sign over to somebody who is terminal. I don't think you should have to know the person I don't think that they should have to be your relative I think that anybody should be allowed to sign over a permit to somebody who is dying.

Someone with the right practice can hit steel at 200 yards with a crossbow. After all the weapons shoot the projectile the same speed. Using air to push it out doesn't give it magical properties to be more accurate. I've seen videos of guys hitting targets at 200+ with a compound bow as well. Does that mean they hunt with them at 200? Or that the arrow would even kill anything at 200? 👍👍👍 You know I woke up this morning I saw some post on Facebook about this and I allowed those post to affect my decision making without doing my own research. If you look at my post on this thread alone you can see that within a few hours I completely changed my mind. Just a slight amount of research shows that it's basically the same as a crossbow so why not allow it. Honestly without a cocking device it hurts my shoulders neck clavicle worse than pulling a compound bow so I can see where compressed air would be kind of sweet. So that being said if it's basically the same as a crossbow it seems like the only people 100% against them are the same people that are against crossbows. Trust me as a archer I hate having to use a crossbow! Yes it allows me to have some sort of archery hunt but it's about 90% less fun than vertical bows. If you really love archery and have it taken away you know what i mean.

The first let me say I do detect a hint of sarcasm... Second I'll say I never stand there looking at an animal and say I wonder if I can hit it... I've killed a deer at 84 yards with my crossbow and I've seen people on coues whitetail.com talk about killing bull elk with their compound bows at a hundred yards. Could I hit steal at 200 on 2nd shot? Probably

Champ permits and crossbow permits used to be more difficult to get and also I don't remember them being for temporarily disabled people as now you can get x-bow permit temporarily.. Pretty sure crossbow permit used to be only for permanently disabled people and i think it used to he 90% or greater loss of use of 1 arm. I have both the champ permit and a crossbow permit I don't think the airbow should be legal during archery season. Save it for the ham hunt and rifle hunt. I mean I'm sitting here knowing that it would be legal for me to use it during an archery hunt and I'm trying to figure out where disabled or not why would it be fair for me to hunt during an archery hunt and shoot an animal to to 300 yards away while somebody else has to stick to you know under 60 yards for the most part. I am at a disadvantage when it comes to the hiking part but allowing me to use scoped crossbow shooting 400 feet per second is probably good enough. If you are me with an airbow it's allowing me to rifle hunt during archery I just I just don't know that seems a little strange. All crossbows can have cocking devices put on them where you just cranked them to cock the bow. If somebody can't use a cocking device they probably can't hold airbow either without help. I'm one of the bonuses of a crossbow is been able to cock the crossbow and basically sit in your stand all day long with a cocked you're not drawing a bow on your shoulder or neck or back or whatever the problem is heck somebody else could cock the bow for you or you could use a cocking device. I'm not sure how this ever made it up for vote Now which ones are capable of making a 300 yd shot? Well if they're only accurate to 100 yards I would change my opinion 100% I would say make them legal for disabled Hunters. But then I would ask what happens when they make them better and they are good to two and three hundred yards. Most of the propaganda being pushed around about anti airbow is saying that they have a 200 to 300 yard range. If 100 yards sign me up!

Don't get me wrong there's been a few surgeries before I had my permit where I wished they had temporary crossbow permits but at that time they did not. But again why is it we have point guard? We have point guard so that if somebody does get drawn for that early bull archery tag and rips the rotator cuff they can keep their bonus points and donate the tag. It's konda like medical marijuana everybody can get it even though it was meant for cancer patients. Again as far as the airbow goes me having champ and crossbow permits I don't see why I should be able to use an airbow/rifle during archery hunt. If anything more champ HUNTS are needed. 👍

If you can't walk is it you either get out of the truck and off the road to shoot or you don't hunt?I thought people that can't walk can get licenses to shoot from a truck? Yes champ license but still can't road hunt. Park by a pasture or what not and shoot from truck and can have designated person to dispatch animal if need be.
