+1 snake Gators. I have seen more quail this year then probably last 20 years! calls do work good. Hawk calls work really well that screem gets them into cover and they will hold till you flush them. most successful person I ever saw hunt quail was a young guy had cargo pockets stuffed full of shotgun shells that were rattling and making so much noise it was ridiculous. He would charge them full speed making all that noise and they would hold tight in the bush and then they would fly and he would shoot he got his limit in a ridiculously low amount of time. it made me unload my gun and quit lol

I like those boots wish they were in my size (11.5) Glad you were able to find some! I picked up some of those in the tan color (same boot, different color). I bought some of them for my wife and son several months ago. They love them but they weren't in my size that time around. Good deal! I wore Danner Elk hunters for years (Cabela's) and have not been able to wear Danner since foot trauma/deer feeder incident :-| so hope these fit.

I had my kids up by Lake Mary few years back we went out for a drive at night to see some out and somebody had just hit a 5x5 in velvet the velvet was still bleeding meat was totally fresh I wanted to cut that elk up and put it in my truck so bad the kids were even like hey let's take it but man we didn't hit it we can't have it :-(and of course whoever hit it was not around. when I lived in Christopher Creek people would hit animals come into the restaurant I worked at the report it and I can have them sign it over to me with usually Highway Patrol freezer was always full

a buddy of mine had it happen in Canada so the following year he had pepper spray on each hip :-)
