I used grim reapera for probably good 5+yrs and loved them until i started pauing attention to blades after kill shot. BLADES ARE INSANELY BREAKABLE! I had harvested 2 or 3 thin skinned small boned exotics and 2/3 of blades would be broken and missing later to be found when making sausage. I then had same issue on bunch of different javelina. I liked that you could open them and shoot fixed or close and make expandable but not worth it. Im now all about muzzy. I thought tuning broadheads was difficult, some sort of science, then learned it is So easy to learn to tune broadheads and muzzies look same before and after the kill. and are super affordable. Also they fly perfectly out of my crossbow with short 20" bolt and moving 350+fps and have punched clean thru deer at 85 yards

Ok not exactly level of purification and amount of gallons you all are talkin about but... Are the emergency filtration straws worth the $20-$40 to have in your pack? I mean id it's good enough for survivorman to drink out of bird and turtle poop water...

Guys i just wanna humbly say thank you for all who have donated tags and all who are running these organizations. These people are busting their butts to help sick kids, wounded warriors and disabled veterans get out and hunt. I applied for limIted opp hunt and quickly found out it was not quite my speed so not much of a elk hunt. I was donated a 22n late bull dec 4th tag and i understand it is really difficult hunt but i will give it a whirl! Now i had a hand surgery last friday so still gonna be kinda awkward and waiting on knee surgery so WELL WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY RIGHT. I absolutely love hunting and my family loves the meat ao i just dont wanna throw in the towel. Unfortunately my issues flare in cold but having bowhunter4life's cabin for the hunt is really gonna help. Yes i will take any phone numbers you wanna send my way for help packing out if your willing. i wont offer to pay and get yelled at or offer meat and get yelled at but i will say we will have 1 heck of a backstrap party with adult beverages by a fire if a bull hits the dirt! 😃

As much as i could. The 4 hour search for a possible downed bull in 6-10 foot tall oak scrub and manzanita on a steep face was about all i could handle. Difficult when alone! Really could have used a walker/ search party while i sat in shooting position to guide in. as primarily coues hunters on here im sure everyone is familiar with country i just described but i will post pic of hike up to look for blood or bull. This pic was a straight ahead view. L.O.L. well accept fact that its rotated

So hard not to drink from the creeks when they taste so good. I did end up learning my lesson on a rim creek i drank from all the time but eventually she got me.
