Hunted archery elk in 11m few years back, after opener it was as if the sides of road & forest had quicksand so everybody just stayed in side by sides and cruised roads with bows in hand. Honestly it was as if a joke had been orchestrated on me and everybody was laughing at me while I sunk in the hiking Hunter quicksand. I have never seen so many roadhunters at once/same place/same day.. Felt like I should have met them all I saw them go by so many times. I guess maybe they were not hunting they might have been trolling?

5x8 is kinda max size. I have a buffalo tag and a Toyota sequoia and have yet to buy a utility trailer for bigger hunts. I have big trailer I can use but wondering if anybody has a small easy to pull and preferably with newer tires so I'm not buying you New tires. 😬 it's a Raymond Ranch hunt so just need trailer for day or 2. I'm in n.phx so probably not a tucson, gilbert, chandler, trailer. I took buckle off belt my cutting the stitching where end is folded over and slipped nice leather holster over belt then put buckle back on. It allows me to use lumbar support and suck everything up right and then slip gun in and all is a Good until you take pack off of course so I run 2 holsters Galco quickslide with yaqui under. Works for me with my packs but mine have some strap in front of lumbar/waist belt pad thingy mcjigger
