I must admit the black guns have won me over! 1 by 1 I have sold off beautiful wood stock guns for black guns. I just bought a Tikka superlight ultralight?? Whatever it's called and it was instantly my new favorite!!! I'm sure whoever buys this will be happy. I have friend who took same gun to Texas and the hogs hated it!

AWESOME TRIP! I used to hunt 7 a bunch and yes many hikers up kendrik/pumpkin trail and cameras snapping everywhere but off same trails I'd bump elk, deer, lion, bear, bobcat, yotes and killed all but lion there. Great unit for a bow and a healthy set of lungs and legs. You will even run into some huntable birds up there that you don't usually see in az. Thanks for sharing the pics

Totally unrelated to the year 2016 but my 1st 2 years for deer I had Kaibab BUCK tags at 10 & 11 years old.. 1982 I guess.. Anyways most insane thing I have seen to this day while hunting! Guys sitting in camp drinking coffee by fire calling their shots when deer ran thru camp like it was a dove hunt. There were DEER EVERYWHERE!!!! Good luck and trust what Lance says he has put in some serious time there looking at monsters in the BAB. I saw some of the biggest deer I have seen to date in those 1st 2 years.

I wanna shoot 1 with Grandpas Ruger super Blackhawk 30 carbine I carried on a down south hunt with SHERMAN but he failed to deliver L.O.L. well we did start shooting at jackwabbits but no pigs For pistols i have used Beretta 9mm, glock 30 45acp, ruger super blackhawk 44mag. Long barrel helps spot and stalk but since I'm normally calling in super close any handgun big enough works. Good luck and have fun

Imho gr8 glass, way better than the huge bodied old model and definitely superior to the made in China 1 with ridges on housing that came after the biggins. I almost bought pair of this model but flinched then guy chose not to sell at the stupid low price that was more than your asking so I asked if he would still meet me so I could compare against a old huge model minox.. He met me and there was NO COMPARISON. the old huge ones are brown compared to lens in these. Good luck wish I had the funds right now Dang you..

Definitely. Hey with guys doing reviews on the Kaibab hunt I just think it's important for them to see both sides so people can make an informed decision. If meat is the main priority this is pretty cool and maybe do like Evan did and they camped up there beforehand and camped up there the night after the kill you know make it fun. I had to get back in town so I just went up there collected my meat basically got home and I'm going to enjoy that meat every single time I bite into it. I guess it really just depends what you call hunting, some guys are still dead-set against this hunt but they're okay with sitting on salt that somebody placed them on with pictures of the animals that will be there and then calling that a hunt so whatever tickles your fancy I guess. I don't know many people that have done the current day Kaibab hunt without a PAID guide that have been successful. As I said man when I was younger I dreamt about the House Rock Ranch spot n stalk on a big bull buffalo with a bow and then worrying about getting crushed by them when they run me over LOL things change as you age sometimes. Having my sucky arthritis and having my rheumatologist tell me that the game meat better for me with its higher level of omega's I just like to keep my freezer stocked. HOPEFULLY GOOD THINGS WILL COME FROM FUTURE PLANNED BUFFALO HERDS.
