AWW heck, I could name a few more on this site like Antlerdog, CRB, SilentbutDeadly, Brian/Bryan from tonto, (theres alot more too) and a handfull not on this site as well that I know of like my Dad, Bill Bishop, Thomas powers, the Fagotti Family etc.. And I'm sure theres Allot more Shed Freaks I don't know of in az too.... azcoues, I'll quote az.antlerenthusiast here " The first 100 is the hardest, every hundred after that is a challenge too" Jason W., & he's found maybe 1000+ elk/deer? keepers and many more left laying, he would know. I'd say he's right.Also Patience/effort/location/aquired eye/tracking skill/a smidge of luck/ physical ability/ knowing areas/game- all that stuff...... also Coues sheds are the hardest most the time too so just keep at it, working your but off for just 1 sometimes is part of the game, makes that 1 shed pretty sweet huh .

Holly Wowzer what a first buck!! I'm sure at his age and size it's GARGANTUAN and allmost unreal, a king sized buck to grown ups as well!! a big congrats!! What a memory for a couple brothers, Awesome. Sounds like you guys are some good hikers too, a change up from traditional desert floor hunting of s. az.. Both allways a challenge and hardly ever easy, as the success rates show. But hunting muleys in the hills/mountains is better views and nicer country as you know, less walking around in the sand flats playing peek a boo, but heck thas fun too. You guys are Hooked, as we all are. It's PERFECT. But get him on them Coues next, a hunters quest to be well rounded can never end. He will be amazed how both different and alike different deer species are.

Bad News Piggies. Friend chased up a tree in heber by a herd with large Boar last year, the one day he had no sidearm. Picked up a head two years ago near Show Low that is over 16" long and 10" wide I think.Maybe left by a rancher/hunter who shot it in the head, probly not edible I guess?.But it had teeth very close together in the front wich is supposed to mean it was a wild hog. I'll get some pics soon, I gave it to my uncle for a birthday present.

I ate the first rabbit I killed with my pellet gun when I was ten in Nutrioso, it was good eating and parasite free . Arrowed one once and he ran off with my arrow and I couldn't find him, wasscilly wabbits !! I killed a couple a few years ago with my 22 and they had tons of fleas and worms, in February I didn't eat those... Now these " tumors" , yuck. I guess rabbits just arent allways edible, but their fun to hunt and definately overpopulated in areas, especially in the yard and garden !! When they are good, they taste like chicken .

Thanks guys, Heres a couple more pics of my humble little pile that aren't total crud, anyone wanna trade some horns for a Digi?. I've ben lookin for sheds about 4 years now, have sold and given away around 75 antlers ( mostly elk ) not in pics and left many more laying in the woods. Antlerhunting with my friend Jason (az.antlerenthusiast ) has helped me out allot in shed numbers and it's allways a blast to get out, thanks man!!! Btw, Jason's collection DWARFS mine, it's allways a treat to rumage through his garage , but someone could have one shed and I wanna see it too. I'm sure there are many others who hold collections that far surpass this one also. I gotta admit, my bones are my prized possesions next to my kills and the Harley that shares the shack with umm, gotta get that old scooter put back together, make room for more horns .... They truly are the coolest Souveniers to make time spent outdoors a little more memorable, but is allways good times in Gods country anyway .. Shed hunting is definately my favorite thing to do besides tryin to fill a tag, maybe even more so ? Yes Jim, I got it bad
