What many fail to realize is we are talking about birds of a didn't feather in relation to packing AR's, more 30 rd mags, camo out and keep em in your cross hairs till they decide to go elsewhere! Most illegal folks are going to avoid hunters at all costs but its those that are dealing in drugs or the coyotes being paid to get X amount of people across safely that stand to lose so much, and they will not think twice about shooting another human being! That allows them to not hesitate in doing so when for most of us hunters, we first try to identify who it is, are they a threat to us, what are they doing and how many are there before we consider doing anything. All those questions are hesitations and will cost you your life in the wrong situation, so yes it is dangerous for all of us down there but so is crossing the street downtown Phoenix during lunchtime, or riding my Harley anywhere in the valley! We will continue to hunt down south as it is too great a country to not hunt in. The only thing I can honestly say I would be concerned with would be your campsite while you are gone in the field hunting as of course anyone with common sense realizes most hunters are our before sunup and back after dark for the most part. Of course this pertains to all human beings of less then stellar morals so it could happen in 6A as soon as it could in 36B. I'm just saying...

My monitor wasn't blurry! NOT!! Ate a few c-rats with some great Marines and proud this AF FAC got to break bread with the best! God bless our troops serving in harms way!

Not familiar with this bow, what is the axle to axle length? Are you located here in the valley by chance?

Quiet is the only way to go! I love having my family with me in the mountains but sure wish we could leave the city behind such as ac, blow driers, microwaves etc that all constitute cranking up the generator. Honda's are not cheap but they are more then worth it and its a great peace of mind when you are needing to recharge your trailer batteries.

San Diego boycott of Az backfired
Broken Wheels replied to cactusjack's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
So what we are witnessing is the "potential" for total anarchy and break down in our system as we know it today! So L.A. boycotts Arizona, we shut 25% of their power off as well as take away vast amounts of water diverted to their pathetic state which allows their fields to grow produce and fruits (called export goods), which then creates riots no doubt that would make Rodney King's riots look like a grade school kids fight! Then Texas decides to not share its vast amounts of oil which shuts down major cities throughout the country causing more riots and miles of lines for people to just fill their tanks to go to work if they still have jobs to go to and it goes on and on and on! Personally, until this happens Obama and his cronies will continue to ruin this country so I say let the cards fall where they may and lets take care of our own and see just how great this "change" is for the morons who voted for the likes of Obama, Pelosi, Holder, Clinton, Sconyers and the whole lot of them! -
Holder: I haven't read AZ immigration law
Broken Wheels replied to bowsniper's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Ex Gov Neopolitan was voted in by the people of this state so we should start cussing out those who vote these idiots into office! If your neighbor votes them in let him know how frickin stupid he is and how could he/she have been so foolish as to vote someone in that is so anti- Arizona, anti-voters wishes! Everytime I see an Obama sticker on a car or someone is tooting their horn about Obama (doesn't happen much) I immediately respond accordingly! Not saying to be ugly or violent but hold individuals accountable and question them on pertinent topics and see how they toot their horn then! Just an idea... -
"Am I crazy, or am I the only one that heard when the legislators said that 'we just took United States immigration law and adapted it to our state?"' Jackson responded. When the reporter suggested that Arizona had usurped federal law, Jackson corrected him. "It's not usurping, they just copied it, is what they said they did, the legislators. Then they give it some teeth to be able to enforce it." This was copied from a news clipping after the Suns/Lakers game last night from a conversation they had with the coach of the Lakers. I may not like everything about Phil Jackson but when he responds like this to this issue you have to respect the man for calling it like he sees it! Props to him for not caving in to a popularity contest or what he called the craziness of NOT LISTENING to what the Arizona legislators said and did! Finally, something positive from a very public, popular person such as the world champion Lakers! Side note: OUCH they spanked our Suns pretty hard last night!

Realtree All Purpose HD is really diverse and seems to blend in anywhere. Outfitters camo I have quite a bit of but most of it fades over a season or two unless you go wool type where it's dyed into the fabric. I was also told by other hunters with me from time to time, Outfitters camo practically glows in the darker woods such as in units 1/27. You could wear pink leotards and get close to game as long as the wind is right but you might have a hard time finding anyone to hunt with you in that outfit!

Poacher Of the 2 Bighorns caught.
Broken Wheels replied to bowhuntaz1's topic in Bighorn Sheep Hunting
"there were 6 Game&Fish trucks, 1 DPS, and a hand full of Mesa PD at the kid's (21 or 22year old) house". AMAZING! So it took all those law enforcement people to write a bunch of tickets??? And we wonder why we are broke in this state? I agree he should have been booked into tent city for awhile and maybe his poor decision would sink in and have a more lasting effect on him. His type don't worry too much about losing their hunting privelages and how is he going to pay the fine as most 21 year olds don't have the greatest jobs these days? I have an idea though: have him start June 1st painting the little white fish back on the concrete up at the fish hatchery in unit 23. That should take him quite awhile and the sheer bordom and tediousness of the task would drive him nuts I would think. Sad how our children no longer respect life, be it two legged or four legged! -

San Diego School District
Broken Wheels replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Pretty hilarious coming from a frickin state that is so far worse off then Arizona BECAUSE of their lack of focus on illegal immigration! I have relatives in San Diego that are appalled by their states pathetic government and actually pleased that Arizona took matters into their own hands! I heard on KFYI this morning that when the idiot Eric Holder was asked if he had even read the Arizona law he said "no" which in itself isn't surprising but the fact that he was honest about it was! Too bad we can't boycott California from coming into our state as they are probably the second worst drivers (NYC still #1) ever, plus they are "just like totally" different people! (oops, is that considered profiling, or judging?) -
Very nice job sir! The price was right too!

We are all saying just how bad it is "down there", how we should be allowed as American citizens to carry firearms for protection and yet has anyone considered the fact that this is the direction this country is going in and someday we may also be saying "up here": gosh I sure wish we were able to carry when we go to East Mesa for groceries for our family, or I sure wish we were allowed to have a weapon in our vehicle when going to pick our children up at school or we better drive an old beater to church so we are not shot, killed and buried because we went in the suburban! Scary to think, but this is the plan for the current administration and they have already succeeded in small baby steps the process of making this happen. I pray for not just those who lost loved ones in the current "war" but also for all of us, that we may never see such atroocities occur on our watch in our own backyards and not be able to protect our loved ones. Peace out//

Sen. Kyl

As McCain has proven before, vote him in and he will either ride the fence (no pun intended, well maybe a litte bit) or he will flat out go in the other direction on this issue. I for one will NOT vote for McCain again, thank you for your service to the country sir but please go spend your wife's money now and not ours! -
Anybody familiar with this Tinitus (sp?) commercial I am fortunate enough to still be able to hear on am radio? (am is the original fqcy we listened to while in our Father's truck like KJ 910 back in the day) I have some terrible ringing in my ears that has gotten worse over the years to the point it is driving me crazy and I do not sleep well and haven't for years! Any ideas or suggestions and would insurance cover this Tinitus fix? Thanks for your thoughts folks, Broken Wheels.

GH I am very impressed with the your knowledge of your industry and I appreciate the help you are giving to all of us on CWT! I too have a couple questions after our turkey hunt with our Jayco 5th wheel. 1. If your awning chooses not to retract on its own as it used to once you flip the lever is that because of a failed spring of some sort or what should I look for? 2. Will the rocking too and fro while moving in the 5th wheel stop if I purchase one of those 5th wheel tripods or is there something else I need to install to eliminate this as much as possible? 3. I had asked a question with no response regarding my Honda generator and how to quiet it down some so if you have any suggestions it would be appreciated- it is an EB3500 mounted on a hitch haul on back of trailer and it is motor noise, not vibration noise. Lastly, where are you located so I can stop in and visit/do some business with you in the near future? Thank you for all your assistance with my issues GH!!

Boycott "Los Suns"
Broken Wheels replied to mr.smith's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Isn't this country sstill the greatest country in the world? All of us can voice our poinions, boldly put them in writing without fear of retribution and this was the reason I served and fought for my country besides for the man on either side of me during those conflicts! We can boycott, we can complain, we can do all sorts of things but the bottom line is, those with money i.e, Sarver and Nash (he's not even American, he's a frickin Frenchy Canadian) will always have the opportunity to voice their political views in front of millions of people with much better results then us. This state thrived long before the Suns, Cardinals, Diamondbacks and Coyotes were even thought of and the only way to get back to the basics of life is to stop supporting these millionaires and force them to leave for other parts of the country that will be held hostage by them! They are entertainers (something like Gladiators who never spoke back then) and here soley for the purpose of entertaining and nothing more! Enough said, plenty more to come from others I am sure! -
Well done sir and good to see your Father out there enjoying life to its fullest!

Folks, thought I would throw out this question regarding my older Honda generator and how I could possibly quiet it down some. It is an older version, very reliable and cost effective(paid for) so not interested in replacing it with the new and improved (and mega expensive) quiet versions. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and it is noise from exhaust not vibration from being mounted on the 5th wheel! Thanks again folks and have a great day!

Here's another funny one fellas! Heard on 620am this morning that the Diamondbacks are facing the wrath of the cities they are traveling in to play baseball and all over this bill supposedly! Besides the fact that it is too funny, it is also stupid as they just now are traveling to Colorado after the bill has been signed and yest this immediately happens? Not likely I am thinking. This is another case of stupidity on behalf of the left and how the media everywhere are a bunch of whores selling themselves out to the left and their pathetic socialistic ideas! When I served in central and south America from 80-85 I saw first hand the blatant lies created by the media purely for the sake of politics and sales! I lost friends and the bull crap that was printed flat out lied about what occurred and it is a shame we dishonor those who do as ordered only to give the ultimate sacrifice for their country and fellow military team members. Nuff said, again PEACE OUT// -
Where's the love man? Pretty cool how some of us want to regulate some things but don't want government regulating us. Yet here we are free to voice our opinions without fear of repercussions from anyone (for now) and yet we still can't seem to "live and let live". Cameras don't harvest wildlife, people harvest wildlife! Hey wait, haven't we heard that before but in relation to guns and people? Better to have cameras being shot at critters then guns, especially out of season aye? Enjoy life ya'all as one day we wont be able to do what we do now and then what's left, grumpy old bastards venting on our favorite web site? Peace out!!

What really gets me is, we will vote for more taxes to build a billionaires a place for their teams to play games, but if there were a tax proposal for building a 40ft high, patrolled and guarded wall from San Diego to Texas no one would vote for it. Desert Bull you are spot on man! I have always wondered how we can value sports more then the real world where children are starving, families are on the street and gangs still intimidate the honest citizens. Imagine if we actually spent billiions of dollars on our own people in the inner cities, helped the small farmer stay afloat, created jobs for the jobless such as fences, block walls or some sort of blockade along our northern and southern borders. Plenty of skilled men not working right now who would love to do it and in doing so also genereate revenue for those border towns as well during the construction through lodging, restaraunts, gas stations, etc. The problem is this all makes too much sense and would take away the need for politicians as they would have no jobs as we wouldn't need them to debate and then vote on anything, we would just frickin do it! Enough said for a Monday but thanks again Desert Bull as it is nice to know others out there think with common sense for the good of all. -
Student Walk Out
Broken Wheels replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Careful you guys or you will also be judged for racial profiling on this site with your comments leaning too heavily to the side of the majority. Those kids protesting and staging a walk out today was what we were accused of as "DITCHING" and we were punished accordingly. (Of course we were going tubing down the river and not attending political rallies) Now in our pathetic state of the children of the corn "dissing" all parents we are stuck with the consequences of not raising our children with a firm hand and strong moral beliefs and teachings! This bill will work if it only forces the hands of the Fed's to step in and do their job as they have been asked to for what now, 30 years and running? Obama doesn't like this because as we send back hundreds of thousands of illegals that is just that many less potential candidates to run for President of the United States as he did illegally! Gotta go, better things to talk about like hunting and what to do with the return checks from not getting drawn for Elk or Antelope again!
