Barnes Spit-Fire T-EZ muzzleloader bullets
rugerman replied to Mesabulls's topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
Here is the 250gr Spitfire EZ I recovered from a desert muley I killed in 2009. Frontal shot at 100 yds and recovered the bullet from the right hip. I haven't weighed it but I will someday. I can't imagine better performance from a projectile. -
I got a pup from your last litter and have to say he is great dog. I took him out this fall and let him mouth a quail I shot and it is now his #1 priority to flush some out everyday. Crazy about water too. Lets my daughters hang on him and dress him up. Only problem is he was only about that size in your pics for about a week. He's about 70 lbs already at 9 months. Definitely was exactly what we were hoping for in a new family member. Good luck with the sales, I wish we had room for a yellow this time!

I thought I had a shot at 2nd choice unit 1 muzzy with 17 points, but no luck. I did draw my 18th point though. Last year 17points was good for 27 muzzy hmmmm.........I'm a little discouraged by naturebob's story
-
I only put in for 2 choices (slim and none) with my 17 elk points. Unit 27 early rifle and unit 1 muzzy. According to my limited brain power, neither of these will dip into the 17 pt range in the bonus pass this year. We all know the rest of the tags go to folks with a couple points that are real lucky. I am fully prepared for the rejection and point #18, but still look forward to the results being announced.

You can't stop these girls! They love to be outside with Dad.

Thanks for the offer. This one has some sentimental value though. BTW, that quad is still running great. It's gotten me through heck and back in unit 23. Has a few more scratches and a cracked foot rest now though! No problem I understand. I broke tha plastic footrest before on that too. Look up a parts diagram and order one to the closest shop. I think it ran me forty bucks and 10 minutes to replace it.

Hey aka, You bought a quad off of me last year. I'm looking for a 700 long action donor rifle to build an ultralight 25-06. If you want to dump that rifle and start fresh pm me.

Congratulations on the nice deer! Have you had some bacon wrapped backstraps yet?
