I have for sale a Sako Deluxe Forester .243 WIN. Serial # 62xxx. Made in 1966 as near as I can tell. It is a BOFORS STEEL Pre Garcia import. I'm no expert on grading firearms but this rifle is in very good condition.Shows slight bluing wear on the bolt handle and muzzle. Slight bluing discoloration on top of barrel forward of the reciever. Stock has rosewood forend and gripcap.Very light handling marks. Comes with an old Redfield 3x9 in good condition. Asking $1000. Will try to post pics tomorrow. PM if interested. Thanks, Roy Forgot to add that I am in the White Mountain area. Could Possibly meet interested party somewhere.

Hello All, I am a long time veiwer, first time poster.I finally after many years of saving $ and arguing with myself, purchased a pair of Swaro 15x56 binos. Now I need a decent tripod.I was wondering if any of you have used the Velbon Sherpa 750 that is sold on this website and what you think of it. By the way the binos are worth every penny. I should have done it years ago ! Thanks Amanda and everyone involved in this excellent website. Roy

Looking at getting a GPS unit...questions?
ramos replied to palivs2hnt's topic in Optics and tripods
I have used the e-trex for years. It is very basic but works well. Some of the newer units I have been around seem to lock-on faster but that could just be me. -
Ethics of Finding a Trail Camera
ramos replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
I have found many stands and cameras over the years. I never have touched one of them and I never will. To take one is no different than taking something from a camp, a truck or a house. It is STEALING. -
Congratulations on a great buck. Especially for his first Coues

Thanks everybody, I have a couble full sized Bogens and they are great from camp or the truck but are too heavy to pack. Outdoorsmans are my eventual goal but a little pricey for now. I checked out the Bogen 190 it looks like it might do the trick. Roy
