You have to pass a test and be sponsored by a 3rd degree falconer in order to get your license. I just about did it 35+ years ago. Not sure if the rules have changed but it a cool hobby that takes a lot of your time.

First critter I've ever trapped was a badger. San Bernardino mountains in southern California. Just south of Big Bear. I think I was around 14 at the time. Tough critters for sure. And even tougher to skin. Pound for pound they hold their own. Thanks for sharing Bill.
