My friend Leroy yesterday said something about the Tucson Rod and Gun club going to build a range up in Redington....If they do, I hope it's not to far up there to where it brings a big old mess of problems for the area

I too have seen some in late Oct. in full velvet, last Oct. I got a spike that still had about half its velvet and his head, nose and ears had green lookin pollin stuff all over it from him rubbing.

Travis, They usually shed there velvet late Sept. thru mid Oct.

What about natural salt or mineral licks? I always seen areas were deer have been pounding the ground lookin for something other than water most of the time in a wash where water is real close by,but seem to be diggin in the soil fer somethin different? I put a trail cam in a area like this and had vary good results I wish I had a way to post the photos....
