1couesfanatic, The camera is a Moultrie D40 I believe. It's my buddy's and he is gone on fires all summer, so he gave it to us to go try it out. The first time we put it out with cheap batteries, they died after 21 pictures. This time we put it out with Duracell's I think and it had 1200 pictures in 10 days with 60% battery left. Almost all of those pictures were of the grass moving in the wind.

I grew up in Springerville and pretty much got hooked on hunting due to my bro-in-law (dds). He used to always take me out archery deer hunting in unit 27 when you could still shoot "at" does. Used to be a mule deer hunter until there were always left over WT tags in the unit. Been hooked ever since, and pretty much only hunt 27 for everything you can except antelope.

Josh, Regardless of score that is one heck of a buck. A 100" buck is a tremendous feat, especially spot and stalk with a bow. Great job and congratulations again. Charlie

Lark, yea, that sheep was taken out of the Foote Creeke herd. It was guided by Ron Eichelberger out of Alpine.

I was down archery hunting yesterday with a buddy, and we were lucky enough to glass up these rams. There were 8 of them, nothing real huge. A couple of them were really broomed off. The pictures aren't great. Never posted pictures before, so I hope this works. Enjoy

Thanks to all, for the comments. I'm always on this website, so I guess it was time to become a member. One of my friends wives was able to harvest one of the other bulls from my story. He hasn't scored it yet but it is over 360 and maybe pushing 380. So, there may be the rest of the story.
