I have hunted down south for the last three years and the area I hunt seems to be quite a few drug runners. I have seen them EVERY time I have been down there. Last year when we were hiking into an area to glass from there was a BP chopper buzzing the canyon and surrounding hills we were to be glassing. They went back and forth for a few minutes searching and then just took off. We almost gave up and went back to the truck but set-up to glass anyway. About 15 minutes later here come a herd of taco-bending drug smugglers walking about 100 yards infront of us! They did'nt see us but they had guns and a crap-load of dope! Anyway I was glad I stayed and glassed because I glassed up a monster two point and my first lion. Did'nt kill either but finding them is sometimes the challenging part!

Cool pics! Have you sat that hole for the lions yet?

Man I love archery hunting unit 7 but I just can't bring myself to give up the OL rifle tag just yet... Nice bucks I hope you tag one!

Any specific reason she does'nt let you hang your trophies on the yellow walls? Haha! Awesome buck!

WOW! Stayed until the last day of the hunt helping you, then your gangley butt finally pulls off a miracle shot, I stay and watched until you got back after your half hour run to camp for more ammo (because of the 571 yard target practice you somehow ran out!) Then help clean and pack your deer out through fields of shindaggers and then compliment you on how well your deer looks and you tell me I smell like poop! LOL! Whatever PAL! No problem, this season I will tie one to a tree for ya! P.S. Ernesto thats not the same buck with the hole in the antlers but I was spotting for Mr. federal agent here and had to tell him to stop shooting after the deer did'nt go down because he was sending a few more lead footballs right through the up-rights if ya know what I mean!

dang dude looks good! I can't remember if that was the end I packed out, or the end you did, but what a fun hunt! Last day luck seems to work well every time for us lately. Can't wait till next season....

IMO Frank Mir is obviously the more technical fighter but no matter how technical you are it's pretty tough to stop a monster like Lesnar. I guess it all depends on Franks game plan and if he can execute it with a giant ape pounding the heck out of him! My prediction is KO in the second round by Brock.

Well consider yourself lucky! At least you got a picture of a bear mine was ripped open and chewed up so fast there were NO pics, just a few signs of who the culprit was (black hair and teeth marks!) It was pretty funny actually it looked like the bear used my camera for a back-scratcher! Nice pics keep em comin!

I have had a Buckhorn table for about four years and it is still in good shape with no complaints. Buckhorn has great customer service. I have moved the table for various reasons four times now and it still has the original felt and plays great. The problem is the expsense of moving a table. It is about $300 a pop' which is fine if you don't have to move it much i guess but it seems like a pool table becomes more of a burden than anything to me. JMO

Nice fish what bait do you use?

The only thing I can tell you is that I have seen guys bowfishing there while I was bass fishing and thought it was okay as long as you had the daily permit. I have not checked rules and regs. but maybe I should have! I sure hope it's legal because I would like to do it again! lol!

I am no expert on the matter I just started bowfishing this year and it is a blast to say the least. I just brought my old hunting bow to archery headquarters in chandler and they set it up for me. It is a pretty simple rig. You will shoot fingers with no sights and they drop the poundage way down. As for the arrows, they are stronger than anything you are shooting now by far. They are solid fiberglass and I have bounced mine off more than a few rocks and they rarely break. It is also fairly easy to learn and I was surprised at the success I had the first time out to San Carlos lake.

Been brought to my attention...

Good job dude! Does this mean we can hunt deer and illegals down south this year? -
You asked for it! haha!

I'm pretty sure Utah is the same as last year as far as having your card charged does'nt exactly mean you were drawn. Someone correct me if I'm wrong....
-
They hit my card as well. Hope I get drawn this year thats a fun hunt.
-
looks like fun! I did'nt know there are largemouth in those ponds.

Unit seven perhaps?

Horseshoe dam is pretty good catfishing and would also be my first choice but don't overlook bartlett lake you can drive right down to the water (If you get there early enough!) I have caught quite a few cats mostly flathead out of there on waterdogs and another good bait is minnows and a big fat worm on the same hook. Good luck.

That is an impressive trophy collection you got there and the deer are'nt bad either!

I have a set of paintable fender flares off of a 2006 chevy truck for sale. They are brand new and are painted maroon but I can paint them to match what ever color truck you want. I am asking $400 as is and $500 painted to match. That price includes installation and hardware as well. I also have two sets of body side moldings from a crew cab chevy truck, one set is 2006 and the other is 2007 and up. I am asking $250 per set and these will also be painted to match your truck. If I sell any of these items to a CWT member I will donate a portion to this awesome web site! Thanks for looking PM if interested.
