I see those worms in my yard every once in a while. I've seen quite a few under the Rim.

I too believe there are some....some good WM's out there. And I too have faith in the G&F and do hope they come to their senses and listen to the WM's. Sure, you may not think the surveys would work, and thats fine, but as long as you fill them out....."honestly". Mandatory reporting on everything? Sure, why not give it a shot. Never hurts to try something out. I know the Navajo Nation requires that the survey be turned in, and if not, you are unable to apply for the hunt the following year.

Survey cards to jealousy......? Are you mad that you ain't got one or are you just mad??? No tags this year? Shoulda filled out the survey card. All out there, that bit##, whine and complain about not getting tags or about the survey cards or about the G&F and how lousy of game management they conduct, are their worst enemies. Come on guys, how hard is it really? Grab a pen, check a few boxes, get your butt off the couch or your loading bench (which I have no clue why you are there, you didn't get a tag anyway), walk outside and put it in the F'n mailbox. The postage is prepiad, it IS that simple. I do my part to help the G&F by sending in the survey and give them accurate numbers. And those who feel that the cards do not work and don't fill'em out, YOU slice your own throats, and yet YOU cry that the G&F has again, screwed up the units. All the talk about the Commission, and how us hunters need to stick by each other, go to the meetings, let us be heard....blah blah blah. Game management will not change over night, it will take time and the survey cards WILL help if filled out honestly. my $.02 -Jeremy-

My Ruger M77 .243 Have shot 11 coues, 8 of which were 400-450 yards.

I have known Gary since I was a kid.....and I'm still a kid to him. I have had the privilege in helping with MSA on a juniors javalina hunt in 22 and 23 a few years back. Oh, the stories I have heard in the past years. Gary is a true outdoorsman. Just the other day Gary came into the shop and we started talking about all the places he had been hunting in the past year. I seen the same thing in Unit 1 last year while on an antelope hunt with friends. I was odd but interesting watching the coyotes surround this doe, there were five dogs if I remember right, they kept this girl on the move to where she was tuckered out. A buck did however lend some help by chasing a couple dogs around and he was able to get the doe back with the others. I totally agree that pack hunting may be a new way for coyotes. Hopefully I can have some pics here soon, I'll be scouting 3A on the 21st! -J-

I was able to hold Exteme Coues' monster buck!!

Well, I went and set up my camera again and there has been tons of action in the area. The deer, elk, javi's and we even came across a lion track. My boy was really excited to see one it was his first lion track so of course we took a picture...... and so Cutter wanted to a picture of my hand print with Mr. Kitty's........ So now I wait for a week or so and see whats going on out there...... -J-

That picture has to be one of the best ever seen on this site, though not whitetail, it still is an outstanding photo!!
